    Great tutorial, thanks for specifying the type of cement/glue to use. I personally round the corners of any patch, as corners can catch and eventually start to peel 🙂

      @hydrusboardtech6372  13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Absolutely. Rounding them is best. Corners shouldn't peel if you press it all down and get the steps right but rounding is a safer bet.

    My board didn't come with any kind of adhesive, is there a brand you'd recommend? And how do you repair when it's the seam that popped and the entire board is deflated?

      Absolutely, hh-66. You can find it on Amazon.

      Hey, thanks for reaching out. Maybe do a Google search for your area. Wish I could be a bigger help, but we don't have the capacity to repair other boards. I'd be happy to give advice if you have specific questions and are trying to fix your own board otherwise, there has gotta be a shop that repairs nearby.

    If I send you my SUP would you consider repairing it? It has a large hole around the bottom center fin that I tried repairing but failed miserably!

      Hey, sorry. We can't repair other brands. Different materials and construction gets a little tricky and messy for us. Don't have the bandwidth. More than happy to give advice however. Please feel free to reach out! We are hear to help as much as we can. happy paddling.

      Yes, very wise. Get rid of sharp edges that can be more prone to catch and peel

    I just found a puncture in my board, but it’s in the foam part on the top. Any tips for repairing that area of a inflatable paddle board?

    • @redwarf8118
      @redwarf8118 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You would have to find the actual puncture spot underneath the foam first.
      the air might leak from somewhere else through the foam.
      I suggest carefully removing the foam - patch the punctured spot - then glueing the foam back on if necessary
      Hope that helps.

    • @hydrusboardtech6372

      Yes, no problem. Just use a clamp as I did in the video. It will help a lot to press it all around the multiple layers of PVC.

      same process, but you need to peel back the traction pad if possible. Use any type of contact cement to put the traction pad back down.

    • @hydrusboardtech6372

    Great vidthanks!
    Question: how inflated is the board?i mean, how much psi?
    I noticed the board is getting flat as you fix it.
    I fixed my board but had to do it twice, 'cose it was still leaking.
    I think i did it on full flat, and that could be why...
    Thanks

      My SUP blew up today perfectly along the seam, detaching at the factory connection. It's a 20cm tear, and I am not sure if anything can fix it 😢 It's a costly Naish SUP and not in the 1000 years I would expect this to happen!
