    LOL --Howard keeps joking about Dairy Queen -- I knew the owner of a multi-chain DQ franchise who was a successful entrepreneur & a very humble person, too. They are a wonderful organization that sponsors the Children's Miracle Network.

    A very nice family, like their dad. I wish I had invested $1,000 in 1966 with him, but I did invest in non begging people.
    Not with Medicare stealing our SS COLA, genocide in Chicago, high rents, utilities etc. I will work online, or may become a politician, or move to a cheaper country. I worked from 7-70. I travelled and helped people. I helped people so saved very little, because I generously helped others and travelled from 20-72.

      @@jerryware1970 They've received $2 billion each for their individual foundations and then they will receive $2 billion each when Warren passes. I'd hardly call that relatively very little.

    Liz referring to them as "you guys" is remarkably inarticulate.

      What part of the country are you from? This is common vernacular in some areas of the country (namely the upper midwest...I grew up hearing this usage all my life)

      D Storm What would you have preferred her to call them? "You people"?

    • @loftysub
      @loftysub ปีที่แล้ว

      I concur with you. It is imperative that individuals learn to conduct themselves appropriately. Just because something is commonly used does not mean it is always correct. She ought to have been more courteous towards them without a doubt. Phrases like “Guys” and “You guys” are frequently employed as if everyone is at ease with them.

      I agree with you. Having introduced each sibling by name, Liz should have followed that up with the simple greeting "Great to have you here ,or as an alternative, great to have you all here".
