I understand why most of them would rather see the more popular cities of the US like NYC, LA, Washington DC and Las Vegas. I probably would too if I were from another country. But what I like that you did was to travel by highway through Florida and Georgia to Atlanta. It allowed your subscribers world wide to see a different perspective of the USA other than the major urban areas. It's good for them too see that the major cities don't define how all of us live. Keep up the good work.

@@AFRICANTIGRESS Visit the East Beltline from Ponce City Market all the way down to Krog Street Market. Buckhead has alot of shopping and restaurants. People used to visit Lenox Square in Buckhead just to spot famous celebrities that often shop there. I guess some still do. There are movie studios like Tyler Perry's, Trilith and Third Rail. There's Piedmont Park where you can get a great view of the city over Lake Claire. I used to live close to Stone Mountain and hike to the top every week. It's beautiful there and you would always see lots of people from all over the world on the trail. At the top you can see the entire city and on a clear day all the way to Tennessee and ride the cable car back down. Atlanta is super green and is really spread out, everything is a twenty to 30-minute drive, is a cool dope city.Cumberland Mall was opened on August 8th, 1973, for those of you who care to know.
It’s rather unfortunate you couldn’t get a person who knows more about the history of black people in Atlanta. She did a good job tho’ Atlanta is like the Hollywood for black people. Hoards of black people migrated there in the 80s and 90s from all over the country which is why you met so many transplants. You have a lot of black professionals, a lot of black businesses and black entertainers there. It was like a Mecca for us. But now white folks are trying to reclaim Atlanta which she mentioned. Also the average black person doesn’t know much about their own culture to specifically tell you what Soul Food is. It’s African American food. Black people were mostly cooks back in the day and cleaning people. Our food does have some African flair like our Grits. It’s like a substitute for fufu. We eat it with everything. Fish, meat, eggs etc. We use to eat it with our hands but living in a predominantly white country eating with your hands was seen as uncivilized. Just like our music at one time was seen as savage and there were petitions to band our music. So we use a folk. Anyway there is a lot to talk about and I know how people don’t like long posts.😂✌🏽
I agree, her guide was nice but hopefully she gets a chance to interview people who are more knowledgeable about our culture to break it down in a more articulate manner.
