Some of us don't wanna stop because we finally started living. I'm glad to have found people who can accept me and themselves for who they are, because it wasn't possible in the church. When I met you guys when you toured my academy, you were surprised that I and my friends would even sit with you at lunch (although you also thought we were straight haha). I guess you were used to being shunned as much as we were. It made my heart break even as a teen, seeing the insecurity and shame everyone felt compelled to embrace for outside acceptance. It helped me see how my own repression wouldn't save me either.
