Amén! I completely hear you on that! It's a blessing to provide milk for our little ones but my Lord... It's exhausting and time consuming

Thanks for sharing. I was debating on whether to get the freemie closed cups to use with my ameda mya pump and I think I will jump on it now. This looks so much more convenient

It is so convenient! The only negative is if you bend over and your cups are full, the milk may spill, but other than that, they’re perfect! You will love them!❤️ Blessings on your nursing journey!

Do you mind sharing the settings you use to pump?

What settings did you use for your Freemie pump because I am getting half of what I normally get when I use my medela pump and I can't figure out what I am doing wrong?

Hi Jennifer! I started my pumping session on the highest setting. After my let down I switched my settings to the medium setting. I also tried to pump for about 20 minutes which would allow me to get 2 let downs. I hope this helps!

Hello, thanks for sharing your experience with this pump. I have a 2 week old newborn and want to get a pump that I can move around with. I have a Spectra pump that I've been using, but want another option also. When I go back to work I won't be able to pump and work at the same time, so looking for an option to use when I go on break to pump. Did you keep your pump bag with the breast milk in it in the classroom or did you put it in the fridge? If you left it in the classroom did it stay pretty cold throughout the day?

Hi Andrea! Congratulations on your baby! Sorry for the very late response. I stored my milk in the bottle storage bag I bought from Medela with an ice pack specifically made for 4 bottles to fit in the bag and be chilled. It stayed cold all day for me. This pump was also perfect because I didn’t want to be confined to a bathroom to pump due to being exposed. I would just go into the restroom to put my pump on and return to the workroom to work until I was finished.

Is it always that loud? Or does it depend on the level you have it on

It’s always that loud, but the drag changes based on the speed it’s on.

Really appreciated seeing how this would work. Do you ONLY use the Freemie even at home or do you find you need another pump? This will be my first time pumping (and I'm a Spanish teacher). I would like to know if I can get away with just the Freemie.

Hello, Naomi! I’ve only used the Freemie pump since having my baby boy, but it’s always been enough for me. With both of my daughters, I used the Medela pump and loved it, but the Freemie was way more convenient and produced a good amount of milk for me while allowing my hands to be free. Plus, I was able to wear it to planning meetings at school and pump in my classroom while getting work done without worrying about someone walking in on me exposed or just sitting there holding bottles. I loved it!

I wonder if your building has mold in it that’s causing your sinus infection 😩

My building is relatively new so hopefully not. It just might be the Texas weather!

I have been debating on getting this pump due to reviews about the battery life and performance of the pump. Some people have found that in less than 1 year (normally between 4-8 months) the pump starts to lose strength or the battery no longer charges. Have you experienced this? Any review updates?

I had issues with my tubing at one point and it didn’t feel like I had a strong suction. However, in all fairness I couldn’t give you an accurate response because I’ve been working from home since March and haven’t used my pump except for a few times and that is when I noticed the tubing issue, but when I straightened it out and reassembled my pump, it worked just fine. I will be heading back to work in a few weeks and can give you an accurate response then😊
