Most of the Italian guys i've met have a "f- em' if they can't take a joke" mentality, and if you want to call that characteristic of Italians I think it's a compliment!

The fan base almost immediately began to love Purdy and after 2-3 games he was the guy. The locker room immediately bought in, and the only games San Fran lost since Jimmy G’s ankle injury were in mainly due to injuries. DeVito seems to have received the same love and respect from the Giants’ players and fans in Jersey. Purdy is a west coast chill dude who grew up in Arizona and went to a Midwest school. Perfect fit with the California coast! Tommy DeVito is an overlooked Italian from Jersey who just cares about grit and family. Perfect for NY/NJ!
