Man, this is a clever way of doing a detective game, if tricky enough to where you cant really brute force it without any information but once you get all you need its flexible enough to figure out the last steps if your not completely piecing it together.
Hey Ray. Live in another timezone so not sure how to let you know. My dog exploded causing a shock wave. This caused my father, who was paragliding, to fly into high voltage wires. These were powering my Granny's life support. The shock of her death gave my goldfish a heart attack. Hope this horrible situation improves your day, if you see it.
My only complaint is that at the end you couldn't arrest everyone. For either actually breaking the law for the ones who did, and for some sort of dumb far reaching reason for the ones who didn't XD Like it just kept going person by person with "Should _____ go to jail?" regardless of how involved in the crime they were.
I was literally rewatching the frog detective series and when I was looking through the suggested videos this showed up lol I'm excited to watch this!!
I didn’t know until now, but Regulation/Ray Collab is all I want! They were one of the few thing of rt I followed after I stopped with ah and everything. That would be so cool to have them play games together!
You should 100% check out Shadows of Doubt. It's a procedurally generated detective game but it's legit. Like rather than just "Oh no. There is a body. Find the 4 clues to solve the crime" that so many games do the crimes actually happen in real time and it looks amazing. Also there was a bug where the procedurally generated snipers were missing their shots so they just kept trying over and over again until there were thousands of bullet cases in the room they were shooting from and I think that's amazing.
Every time Ray mentions his hatred for Mahjong I'm lowkey sad that he couldn't learn it in a better context because it is such a fun game. The best way to learn is to start with basic rules only; no need for legal hands and any hand with the right tiles can win, and then once you get used to the basic stuff then you can only win with a legal hand. I wish I had the contact info for the person that got me into it because he did it right even if he didn't realize it at the time. He was still learning along with a bunch of other friends we played with but he was a few steps ahead. So it starting out simple was also due to him not knowing enough to teach more than that at the time or at least i think that was the case. He is and was a huge weeb but thanks to that I understand mahjong super well and yet don't understand poker at all. Even in Vegas you can't play Mahjong without it being a special tourney so I am now cursed to online play only (Idc about the money or gambling side and I just like the game. I only play betting free games/ apps)
I heard about this game through the voice actor of Manfred (we've both done voice work in fan circles for awhile). After watching this, despite now knowing what happens, I'm for sure going to support the game devs and my VO bud by buying it & playing it myself.
