But these days, most of us got that out of our systems at 13 on deviantart. I can't imagine going my whole life until my hair went grey without having something I made brutally, mercilessly torn apart by the internet. He was likely used to only positive feedback from the unfortunate friends and family subjected to it.

I'll tell you which versions of Cool Cat are currently available:
There are short films, Cool Cat in the Hollywood Christmas Parade, Cool Cat Stops Bullying, and Cool Cat Finds a Gun. They were released in 2012 and 2013 but can't really be found anywhere.
Then there's Cool Cat Saves the Kids in 2015 along with the second cut later that year.
Then there's Cool Cat Kids Superhero in 2018, a recut version. This is what PewDiePie reviewed.
There's also Derek's TH-cam channel but in terms of physical media, there's nothing more than what's described above, at least right now.

dude my favorite part about the cool cat twitter account is when someone edited him into a background from a thing were a anime girl gets gored. It took him about 7 tweets over a year until he found the original source.

Mama Cat's lines were replaced because Savage got pissed at the original actress (after she rejected him and he accused her of going around with the actor who played Cool Cat) so it's a redub. And the police officer's name was edited because....he's a porn star and people were making fun of how a child's safety movie had a porn star as one of the actors, as a policeman at that.
And with the issues of the black lines, I wouldn't be surprised if they were due to all the edits and cuts they had to make in order to crop out things, like the guy who goes back into his house. It comes off as whoever was editing the video trying to do too much in order to make it less noticeable but instead put another glaring mistake forward when the mask put on the guy to edit him out was already enough.

He also restarted his let's play channel with Bigs called "TM&BS" and it has been awesome getting to listen to Mumkey daily. Bigs has been way more fun to listen to than Assburger too.
I think it's funny that daddy Derek got upset about IHE's review but honestly that was one of IHE tamest review that I had seen at the time.

From the interviews with Jason on YT, Derek needed the money, so it’s sad that his ego wouldn’t let him get rich off cool cat. Yeah, it sucks having people laugh at you, but if you own it and make it on your terms, then it works out. People wanted the yms version, if he understood what was going down, he could’ve sold thousands of copies. RLM would’ve done an episode and boost sales. I would’ve bought a plush toy and pins of CC because I enjoy the react videos of the series. Derek and Jason could’ve made bank off live shows. Have people buy tickets and have a $2-$5 raffle for which audience members get to play Butch, Maria, etc on stage with CC k DD.

I’m honestly surprised, for as incompetent as he may seem, in some of the edits Derek actually did some kinda clever things, like at 23:40, adding the additional audio through the call to hide the cut back to original audio caught me off guard.
Why he even made the change, we may never know, but if the rest of the film had that level of polish, it’d probably be much more palatable. A conceptually bad film that’s competent in production can at least be alright to watch. I call it the Rodriguez effect.
Pewdiepie didn’t make Cool Cat popular. YMS, IHE and much more people made him popular in 2015, almost FIVE years before Pewdiepie’s video

YMS now regrets reaching out to Savage. He's a scammer and a liar. I think it was a mistake for YMS to reach out to Savage in the first place to help him clean up the shit he originally created. People enjoyed it for it's awfulness. Now it's just a work of self serving boringness
Maybe a lot of people working on the movies didn't question Derek's editing choices because they were afraid to. Jason said he had some experiences with appearing as Cool cat to socialite events that suggested this. Since the majority of people who swho were at those events were extremely uncomfortable with Derek's obsessive behavior towards Cool Cat.
What's with the weird flickering effect? Super annoying and distracting.

I get so many questions about my review and copy of the movie, this put my mind at so much ease.
There was also a bit where after Cool Cat teaches kids to look both ways before crossing the road, he then just runs across the road without looking both ways. To "fix" this issue Derek added a 2 second close up of Cool Cat looking left and right before the scene just plays out as normal.
