I will admit, they may have gone a tad overboard on the lights, but you can't miss them either which is great because that means you have zero excuse to not give them right of way. Also, Q-Siren on an ambulance will always be badass and no one will ever change my mind.
Damn I was in Teaneck and I had saw an ambulance go through an intersection at night.. I wast sure if somebody was transporting a Christmas tree or if it was a UFO from a distance but when the driver started sweeping through the manual and blasted the air horn I put 2 and 2 together 😂😂😂 Won't have any problems being seen in those bad boys
Emergency equipment installer what lights would you like? All of them. What? Install everything you’ve got, and then all the sirens you’ve got too, oh and Grover air horns too! I Love it guys, looks great 👍
I’m not used to these lighting laws in different states. Here in my state (New York), you can only have red and white flashing to the front of the vehicle but blue is legal in the back. This includes Police, Fire and EMS. These are some great shots though buddy!
It is pretty wild how you can cross a border and the emergency lights are suddenly completely different. Personally, I think Red/Blue all over with R/B/Amber facing rear should be made standard practice in the whole country, since each one shows up better under different climate and weather conditions.
@@LakesRegionEmergencyPhoto Agreed, I remember alot of police and fire departments using red and blue back in my childhood, at least until the fire company's began swapping to red or red/amber in my area. Some still run red/blue, and the police definitely still do.
The ones with you in the Cab of the rig really bring back some memories of when I rode here in Sumter county because our rigs have Federal Q sirens on them too

does teaneck deck out their fire trucks with lights? Might as well throw on 4 sirens. Q2B, SS2000 yelp, Touchmaster wail, and why not throw on the whelen 259 priority
my goodness, are these guys sponsored by a lighting company? Overkill for sure, why is it some volunteer departments over light their appliances? i wonder why these ambulances even have the Q2B. First, it can be confused as a fire truck, and second, it can deafen the patient or the crew that isn't wearing noise cancellers
The sad thing is , is that the ambu has better sounding Air horns then most Fire trucks these days . Idk what is going on with new fire truck manufacturers in last 15 years the air horns sound like shhtt !!
Partly because the roads are larger, so less pressure to need a smaller vehicle to fit, partly ridiculously low fuel prices so less impetus for fuel efficiency.
I've seen some older response vids from this station and while watching a station tour from another channel they mentioned they were retiring my fav unit which was the 89 gmc and i see in this 2nd response vid that they have.............oh and all you haters against all the lights they're as such so when you haters dont get over for them as you should per law and just one day a cop catches you and hands you a ticket you cant say you didnt see them

I heard before they ran so many lights there was an accident where they got sued so this was their solution

Tyler Wallace L.A.X there is a reason for all those lights so people see the ambulance so they have time to move

Q2b’s and air horns on freightliners take bad ass to a whole new level!
When a department puts a Q on the Ambulance, you know they mean business.
There is no reasonable excuse for ANY driver to say that they didn't notice a Teaneck, NJ ambulance responding code 3.
Could use more lights
It's like "National Lampoon's Christmas" & "Christmas With The Cranks" Movies fucked and this Ambulance was born....
Hellen Keller could see that ambulance coming
Second air horn was very awesome with the Q siren.

Very nice ambulances, a little too much lights.

To make ambulance has been doing this since the early 80s, and continue it, for safety reasons
