The band's original guitarist, Jason Cropper, was kicked out of the band towards the end of the recording sessions. They didn't really have time to catch a replacement up to speed, so Rivers re-recorded all the lead guitar parts himself at the last minute.
technically, rivers did the lead guitar parts for the album because Brian bell wasnt in the band when the blue album was recorded. he only joined just after rivers redid all the tracks from the previous guitarist.

If you converted that part to Mono, keeping only the right channel, you'd get rid of most of Matt's voice.
You just gotta try harder (and also take out the left channel and convert that to mono)
