I any country I know... but - fortunatly - although I am a simple warehouse worker - I do not know personally anyone, who watches and likes those mentioned TV 'show'n'forget about nothing... I remember as a little girl watching every Grizzly Adam episode every evening that the show would televise in the early 70's with my Grandparents, and brother. Than is when televised family shows were at their best. Though the reality of nature that Grizzly Adams portrayed gave me hope that Mother Earth was the most important topic regarding the times we were in than and yet what was to come. I now watch these episodes in order, every one of them, reminding me of what has always been most important. And that has always been having family movie nights with our loved ones to keep the memories alive now just as than. Dan Haggerty has always portrayed the part he played as Grizzly Adams as though he were Grizzly Adams before he were John Haggerty... I have and will always love this series, and would love to be in a sort of repetition of those times when the family televised shows that brought families together at night to watch such wonderful series episodes of how important the earth was in those times... How I love this tv series so much....luv Adam n his bear n other companions he had....it was such the best memories during my childhood....watched it at 8.00 pm at night.... Now....tears is coming through my cheecks when waching this drama again.... it's bring so much sentimental values to me...
This was the series premiere. Kristen Curry was Eliza. As the practice of Sunn Classic was to cast local talent when possible, Curry was almost certainly a girl locally cast in Utah. This was her first acting credit and she continued to act in Sunn Classic productions. Episode written by the late Arthur Heinemann, an Emmy Award winning writer known for three episodes of Star Trek as well as Bonanza, Little House on the Prairie, and several ABC Afterschool Specials. The episode aired opposite The Bionic Woman on ABC and Good Times/The Jacksons variety show on CBS. At 8/7central, Grizzly Adams was NBC’s lead-in show for Wednesday night, taking the slot previously occupied by C.P.O. Sharkey and the ill-fated McLean Stevenson Show, which were slid over to 9pm/8central. The series premiere tied with ABC’s Blanskey’s Beauties in 35th place in the Neilsen ratings for the week.
