The lacque! what an impressive art! First the basecoat, then the beautiful glossy topcoat with The incisions, the incrustations of gold powder, the rich and attractive polychromy and finally the work is completed in all its splendor and delicacy. My deep respect for these high level craftsmen who perpetuate an ancient Japanese tradition. Thanks to the production also : the video is absolutely perfect . Bonjour de la Bretagne Française
E uma verdadeira pena o Brasil não se aproximar da Cultura do Japão com certeza teríamos muito aprendizado e poderíamos formar muitos artesãos pra somar com os nossos costumes
the watch dial can be a good idea, but it might be coupled at least with a mechanical movement, not a quartz one, like proposed in the video, or the value of this master-work dial will be underestimated. I can see a beautiful handcrafted watch dial with a Japanese mechanical movement, like an SII NH35, inside a black p.v.d. coated stainless steel case, with the engraved back. It will be great and can reasonably get priced according to the craftsmanship involved in the process.
Ich finde es immer wieder ergreifend, wie man aus einem rohem Grundmaterial etwas wunderbares erschaffen kann! Das ist der Grundgedanke des Handwerks, welches leider langsam ausstirbt!
no, at 1 minute 03 there is a pink paste, with which the artisan is sticking his lacquerware onto a wooden stick, so he dosn´t have to touch the lacquer. What is this kind of glue?
3:14 knife with art-painting, makes difficult to check dried food stain during washing that knife. 3:26 the clock does not have numbers...makes difficult to interpret the time being shown by that clock... 2:07 black bowl, makes difficult to check dried food stain during washing that bowl

thank you for this beautiful video! what is the sticky paste at 1:03 time? is it rice?
Is it thing of black color? This is "lacquer".
no, at 1 minute 03 there is a pink paste, with which the artisan is sticking his lacquerware onto a wooden stick, so he dosn´t have to touch the lacquer. What is this kind of glue?
Pink one is like "wax" with "bintuke oil(鬢付け油)".
I see, thank you!
最初外国語喋ってんかと思った
Lindo!!!
it's beautiful and all but what's the music at the end part of this video? I find it really calming for my daily stress work
Is "the last" a picture? Or is it a product? "Fuji" if it was a picture. It is "knife" when it is a product.
at 3:13 , there's a music / a song, what's the title of the song, I know that it's a knife and it's beautiful AF but I want the music
oh.. it's Chie Fukami, my bad xD
♥
Is that Arashiyama?
Echizen lacquer ware is in "Fukui Prefecture".
too short the videoclip. its not ok.
