The Rams have done what they could and will be competitive. A reality check is that many other teams have also improved their teams. This year's draft was a gold mine to fill team needs. So go Rams! I think McVay's "one game at-a-time" approach is the best with so much competition.

BB makes some thoughtful points but I have some quibbles.The big unknown with Shula isn't, to use BB's video game analogy, the cheat codes ; how well he knows the roster's +/-s, , and how to tailor the scheme to them - after 6-7 years with the team ?! It's as a playcaller. I'm hopeful McVay will overcome his natural reticence to offer advice at key moments, though.....
Not buying the appreciation argument for the Stafford guaranteed money demand. It's all about going into the season with a legit former starter as a back-up now if injuries impair MS' performance. It wouldn't be the first time LAR has ousted a more talented & accomplished QB over the most key ability of all; availability. I can respect/believe that as a business move a lot more than some sad gripe about being under-appreciated.
