While re-routing the payment gateway to VFS Global, the system asked to enter the details of first name, surname, and e-mail ID. Unfortunately, I provided my details (instead applicant's) and completed the transaction with a credit card. Now the query is: how can I correct it..? I have tried again using NEFT (make sure you add the account number without any space after AVEP) and select account type as Current Account (earlier I selected as Savings which did not work). This time it worked perfectly in an hour.

Hi, I selected Dunk bank cash option and It did not generate any receipt as such that I can take at bank and now my appointment is also scheduled. "Last name cannot be numeric and special character. Please provide a valid last name". But I also noticed that, you also have 2 last names and you didnt get that error message while typing. System is not taking gaps at that page ..just remove gap and go ahead ..this is only payment page and this won’t impact any thing ..this is some technical error in this portal

Not sure if anyone else faced this issue but if you have VPN enabled on your laptop then it won't even open payment page. But after I proceed with credit card/ debit card option, it gives error - "We regret to inform you that your online payment transaction could not be completed successfully." - this comes after clicking Continue when you are trying to be on the last page where it gives option to enter payment card details. Not sure, if vfs website is down for maintenance in evenings of US / weekends? Do we just try again later?

Go with upi or credit or debit card payment ..its quick and issues won’t be there .
