I liked both the looks and the feel of the Predator X. I had them it this whiteish-yellow accented colorway. The only thing I was kind of frustrated about is that the soleplate had separated from the upper pretty easily and early on and had to ditch them. Only lasted about half a pre- and half a season. Maybe it wasn't helping that I had to use them on kind of clay-ish grounds while being on tournament in Sardinia, Italy, and then on AG at home. Ofc I had one of the takedown models - I was just a growing teen.
Quite a few people also really liked them, but unfortunately those people weren't enough to sustain the popularity of the Phantom 2 throughout it's run.
Am I the only one that loved the predator X? I had two separate pairs (champions league edition and the yellow, red and black ones) and I wore them both to death. I thought they were incredible! And the first boot I had known to actually have a soleplate that cups around your heel for no slippage. Much like Nike's anatomical soleplate in the mercurial today.
I remember buying the Nike Mercurial Vapor 3 in blue and I always got heel blisters, they were so uncomfortable that I had to buy new boots. I then bought the Vapor 4 when that came out and did not suffer with any blisters at all which was strange

I disagree about the Predator X killing the Predator brand, the LZ was what killed the line for me. Hopefully when they reintroduce the Preds, they will be kangaroo leather, have rubber stiking elements and bladed studs. I owned the Predator X and they were great for me

Everyone I knew was super hyped about the predator x and Adipowers that almost everyone had a pair. Almost half of every team I played against had them and everyone loved them. The predator LZ was a horrible shoe by all standards and is really what killed the predator line. Both visually and performance wise. Also just remembered as I wanted a pair so bad, they were probably the only shoes I could never find on sale due to the demand, even when they eventually became previous models

The fact that they warned you about it does not make it a fail in my opinion. It was an interesting experiment, but one that obviously didn't work out. The 99 gram adizero that came out right at the same time, that was the same weight and same material was more of a fail in my opinion. It was very limited, only produced in 1 size, and Adidas was not honest about how the durability would exactly the same as the evoSPEED SL. You knew exactly what you were getting into with the evoSPEED SL, so I have no problem with them.
When applying the leather cream for soccer cleats does the brand matter and if not what creams do you recommend bcuz I bought the kiwi shine and nourish cream and it says high shine but I am worried

Good Video, I respect your opinion but I don´t share it, the Messi 15.1 is one of the best boots i have had and probably it´s my favourite pair of boots actually, if you haven´t tested it I animate you to do it, you won´t be disappointed
Predator LZ’s & Predator Instinct’s were easily my favourite pairs of boots I have owned, players these days will never experience the durability those boots possessed. Gutted you can’t buy them anymore!
ACE 15.1 was good by its fit and feel but bad if used at negative °C temperatures due to its plastic materials. Then ACE 16.1 came and it was nothing like 15.1.. Felt totally weird. Fit and touch was just off.. That whole era of plastic boots. Could not be used during winter pre-season if trained and played outdoors where I lived.. Got all stiff and killed feet. Nike Phantom 1 worked well though but lost its structural support eventually. Nike Total 90 line was one of my favourite of all time. Not to mention legendary Adidas Predator Accelerator 2 boots and Umbro Specials from early 2000's
Vapors were the worst ever; I remember I got one of the very first models in 2002 and the heel blisters I got from them were the worst. Unbearable to play with that kind of blister, let alone wearing any shoe after that to even walk in. Didn't matter how much you played in them, the heel blisters would always come back with those.. and nothing could mask the pain once that blister is already on your heel. Then I thought I would try again with the Vapor IX in 2013; but the break in process would not end with these, I remember I had to sub out of a game on a grass pitch at 45-55 min mark because the shoes had destroyed my feet, 1 inch size blisters on both feet, ripped off skin on both big toes and the area right below that. Just could not ever fully break into them, I hated them so much I eventually put them on kijiji and gave them away for free - even though I spent over $250 on them a year previous. The insole was too cheap and light to really support a foot; plus I could feel the studs hitting my feet while playing. Never understood how anyone could wear these without a custom insole.

Best looking boots have to be the adidas predator accelerators. Those big 3 stripes swoopes the whole boot. The Ronaldinho R10 tiempo own signature boits were gorgeous. Kangeroo leather so soft & the tongue that covers the laces. These Ronaldo boots with ankle socks added on top just looks silly. Just pur pair of socks over ur kit socks to get that extra sock look.

The CL-Edition of the Pred X was a great shoe. Looked good (for me), felt good and quality was good enough to hold for me till the LZ came out. And the LZ was absolutly crap.

The second gen Visaro as the first Visaro was great but they decided to release one of the worst boots of the year. A boot so bad that all of New Balance's high profile stars left them and so uncomfortable that Fellaini literally tried suing them

You're referring to the Tech craft version of the boot. I agree with you on those, they were decent. The regular version however, was not so great. I've worn every version of the Phantom 2, with the vast majority of my time in them being in the original version of the boot. I actually had them and was wearing them 2 weeks before they came out. I don't like them, and most people didn't either. The sales reflected that and Nike even changed the upper because it had gotten so bad. If you like them, that's fine, but that doesn't change my opinion. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but just because yours is different from mine, that does not make my opinion wrong.
I think the worst boot fail was the mercurial victory 5 they are plain and have no texture to have any effect on the ball when you're striking so I recommend the victory 4 or 6
My problem with it is not the performance, I've never tried on a pair so I wouldn't know. But I believe the problem lies when you claim to have one of the most innovative boots right now and not make it available around the world, claim that you are only going to get glitch codes from select individuals. Only to give the codes away like tissue paper on every social media platform a couple of months later :/

It will wear out pretty quickly like most other balls. It's not made for use on concrete.

I would consider some SG Nike Premiers if you're looking at that style of shoe Even an SG-Pro Legend 7 would be an awesome option.
Behind the F50 adizero prime and the adizero 2 the LZ 1 was my favourite boot. Felt a lot lighter than the previous predator
