I saw a video of a guy geting a 7.93 ounce nugget with a detector on that push field,what a find. AKAU is definitly on my bucket list. Great video Allan.
Yes, there's gold everywhere up there. Everyone finding nuggets ! Amazing place. Worth every penny !! My only regret was only staying a week. Not enough time to do it all. Next time I'm doing 2 weeks. 👍👍👍

@@allansgoldmining It's going to be on lower Anvil creek downstream of where the good gold is. So we're only a lodging location, not a mining camp.

I was going to go back for more, but time was short. Should have stayed 2 weeks instead of one. So much to see and do, that I simply couldn't fit it in. Going back for 2 weeks next time for sure !🤠👍

A couple years ago, I remember watching a few people getting gold up around Nome. Some were just running beach sand threw a sluice and getting pretty good gold. Also off shore on barges with backhoes or scuba with big hoses to sluices on boats above. I think it was about four, five years ago, some freinds asked a mine operation somewere in the Nome area, if they could work a creek near by, give them something like 10% and they worked it for a couple seasons or so and brought in something like a million in gold to split between the three or four of them after giving the miners their cut. The miners were real surprised how well they did and with little cost in machinery, I think it was only a couple grand. There's still gold in them there hills.

great video allen , some of those highbankers should have a rubber pad to push the gold into the mat , and the water did seem a little high in water volume. keene doesnt believe in the rubber pad at the top of the sluice, but then there not the ones losing the gold either.? allen , first time i saw you shoveling ? got some good moves there buddy?
Actually, some high banker had them. There was quite a variety to choose from. We tested the tailings and gold loss was a few specks. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it. 👍
