The winning team of Todd Bell and Bradley Knight have cut and polished another diamond for which the Prestonwood Choir has become known. This is my favorite pageant at Prestonwood. I watch this every Christmas to put my mind and heart on the true meaning of Christmas, celebrating the birth of Jesus. This can also help others to accept Jesus as their Savior.

There are no words for how wonderful this is!!! Top notch and so intricate in every way. This shows how talented God’s children are!! I’ve loved old musicals and ballroom dance since I was very little and it was frowned upon by so many in the church then. I used to wonder why God made me to love dance so much if it was wrong….. it makes me cry to see my dream here on stage being performed so well and without apology. I wish I could see it live!!!!! Thanks for posting it❤️
Yes. In general, I think, most Christian churches and families which held that belief about dancing, ultimately or originally knew/recognized/admitted that it wasn't any and all dancing, but the improper familiarity and intimacy which dancing, in our times since the wide acceptance of the waltz, became so common. I'm a huge fan of Grace Livingston Hill's novels, and she was of this belief and in some comes across as nearly definitely legalistic, yet in others she - her characters- explains her beliefs more along these lines. That for the average young person in, say, the roaring 20s, to go to a dance or have dancing happen at a smaller home gathering, would nearly always involve over-familiarity between the sexes, very worldly songs and talk etc. , and usually involve staying up way late and in a stuffy room. Then of course often involving sliding into further and further worldly, unchristian choices in other related areas from skimpy, clingy, immodest fashions to drinking cocktails to getting drunk. I'M not of the opinion one needed to write off dancing or a little wine or beer because of these dangers, depending on one's social and family circle, but I can understand why many did err that direction and why erring on that side seems more godly. I believe at times it may be, again, esp. if one's background, family or friends are unsaved or of very worldly habits and you'll just be in constant definite danger of being pulled into that.
Personally I really wish that instead of giving up all dancing, they'd kept the more innocent and decent folk dancing alive and well. I think maybe a lot of people didn't have even that in their recent background though, or what they'd had, had been intertwined with paganism, such as celtic paganism for ex. . Just a guess. Obviously, from the Bible, we know dancing isn't wrong. David and Miriam and the maidens danced. Those who "got up to dance" when worshipping the golden calf must have, then, been doing some much worse kind of dancing, or focus of it ( same dance but for the purpose of idol worship). For ex., praying isn't wrong just because some pray to idols & a whole scene of that happening may be described as a negative thing by God !
As God has had to mention quite a bit, man tends to judge the exterior and by doing so, misjudge, whereas He judges the spirit - ours and the spirit of what we're doing and of any law He'd given.
And also read carefully and prayerfully Galatians at least once a year, is my advice to us all !

I love Christmas music, carols and stanfards. Looking for the right music to play opening ptesents I.just happened to find this incredible and beautiful musical production of the Christmas holidays It's a magical entertaining and reverent, its perfect. I only have two questions where or who is Prestonwood and why haven't I ever heard of this Christmas spectacular? I took my family to Rockefeller Center for their Christmas show and I wasn't that impreesed.The Prestonwood Orchestra and choirs are very impressive just magnificent. I'm running out of adjectives to describe this Christmas spectacular. I can't wait to play this for my family and tell others about the Prestonwood Christmas show!
I'm 76 yrs old and I've seen and heard a lot of music and not easily impressed, but I'm overwhelmingly impressed.
P. S. I've never liked the song "12 Days of Christmas", but I could watch and listen to this interpretation over and over!

This is an amazing Christmas production that is great for family viewing. Has a lot of Santa Claus music but also has the real meaning of Christmas. Great performance by youth and Choir, Orchestra and dancers. And the dramatic and musical production of the story of the birth of Christ, the nativity scene and story with amazing productions is great. Thank you!

I know how much work goes into doing this drama cause we use to do a presentation called Follow the Star at our church Evangel in Edmonton Alberta ! pretty good except for one thing! That is that a church celebrating Christ's birth has in their Christmas program with so much Santa Claus centered songs and few, if any Christ centered carols! I hope this church's teaching is Christ centered!

Where can I find the Seseme Street Pinball rendition of the 12 Days of Christmas? That was a beautiful rendition and very kid friendly! The tune brought back so many memories. That song was very nice!

Last I heard, it costs in the neighborhood of $1.5M, but they sell tickets to offset costs.
The story of Mother Mary who gave birth to her Son Jesus Christ on Christmas eve we celebrate his birth in churches and than we go home and Santa Claus left us gifts from the north pole why we share Jesus birthday with gifts in another old story St Nicholas leaves the Good children in his village toys from heaven above for its Jesus Christ birthday. I grew up Baptist. We never were allowed to dance not even Square Dance. No drinking, smoking or long hair on men and no pants on women. Things sure are different now.
I'm not baptist and although some christians drink and smoke as they've always been I still believe it should not be part of christian culture.
We discussed this tears ago and could not find any thing in God’s Word against dancing. So we chose to not follow the traditions of men.
So basically they just put a show on

Dr Graham was the senior pastor at the First Baptist church, now Family Church in West Palm Beach, FL. Every year we had the “Singing Christmas Tree.” Not only were the concerts for non-Christians but also for the Christians. The purpose was tremendous entertainment for everyone but to introduce folks to Jesus. The presentation was divided into 2 acts, the first was the secular side and the 2d was focused on the story of Christ. Dr Graham presents Jesus to everyone and if that means having Santa Claus make an appearance so be it. The end of the evening is ALL about Christ. Jack Graham knows what he is doing, preaching Jesus anyway he needs to.
The Christ’s birth-story is just as much a fairy tail as Santa Claus. Both are wonderful in promoting shopping.
Nice but like so many churches these days, your presentation is too much "Hollywood" and not enough Jesus!
I think it's supposed to be a Christmas pageant and not a regular worship service .
First 15 minutes of secular Christmas songs....WOW! No mention of Luke 2, or the OT prophet Micah. Nothing Biblical about this show. No honor of the coming Messiah! This is what's wrong with most big mega churches these days. Ear tickling!

It was tragic to watch a Baptist church who is trying to reach lost souls for Christ using the means of the world: dancing, sensual music, Santa, and on. Outreach CAN be done with a program that is entirely God-honoring and devoid of sensual and worldly elements! Point people to Jesus, not to how well you can dance or sing. You will impact your community more by having Christ the entire focus of your program. You don’t have to be like the world to reach the world. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
