I just bought a ‘62 today so i’ve been binge watching all the YT videos on MM’s and this video is by far the best. Thank you for the indepth info, you have a sick guitar there
Nice! I have a '63 Musicmaster. As a bass player, I don't do it justice, but I have a few friends who can. Mine was made in the latter part of '63 and the color was, Red Mahogany (Fender's answer to Gibson's Cherry Red). It looked like crap, (like most of the Red Mahoganies of that era did...hard to find one these days...Fender was cutting corners in '63), so after a lot of debate, I refinished the body. I kept it in Red Mahogany, but prepared the wood for the color by using a sanding sealer before hitting it with the Red Mahogany nitro. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for bringing this historic guitar in Nathan. It's beautiful. I see it has a Telecaster top loading bridge as well as the Tele knobs. Sounds great too 🎸
Nathan you always got cool stuff. I am a huge fan of the dousonic, the neck is so easy to play, haven't tried heavier strings, great idea. Your right, pick placement is everything on these. Teriffic tones. Great video, thanks guys.
