I cannot begin to explain how happy I am that they're starting to upload the entire Weekend Update instead of breaking it up into four segments that don't flow from one to the other.
For years been wanting them to do this, no idea why they break it up in the 1st place anyway

The new cast members are hilarious they are showing up this year. Not to mention the “please don’t destroy” guys are the 2021 version of the lonely island. SNL is in good hands!
I am sad Beck left, but I have to say, this current cast is the best SNL has ever been IMO, and it’s only going to be more perfect once Kate returns.

@@TriniLush7 she was running a show in Chicago called Helltrap Nightmare for a long time. I never got to see it, but I saw her drop in at an open mic in my town. She's been killing it for a while now. SNL obv. has its faults, but they have been hiring some really cool, clever people that are going to produce fantastic things.

Aristotle is one of the best new comers I’ve seen in time. Laughintosh is incredible hahaha.
Aristotle's ability to effectively hold a long pause is 😍😍😍 And he recovered quickly from breaks, going for the more difficult, and funnier, deadpan performance. Surprising for a performer with relatively less experience to have the chill pacing, confidence, & impeccable timing required for that bit - can't wait to see more from him & all the new cast.

This was such a good weekend update. The jokes were top tier. I literally teared up from laughing at a few! It’s been awhile since I got that from SNL!

Wasnt feeling Sherman’s bit at the start with all the yelling and staring at the cue cards but the jokes actually landed so well I ended up forgetting about it.
I think she did great!
Look beyond the over-the-top personality, and there was some great spot-on satire about tabloid news, or perhaps news in general.
Me too. For the first few seconds I thought, "Oh great, she's gonna be needlessly loud." But then she really pulled it off. Her personality came through and I liked it.
Her satire of criticisms of men's behaviors toward women was funny, too.
She kept slapping the table though

Aristotle Athari quickly settling into being a go-to guy for terrific performances in a WIDE range of characters.

This was a phenomenal Weekend Update, so good. I hope you keep uploading it all together in one segment. The characters and jokes were very well written, I teared up laughing at both guests.

I see they're putting the whole thing together now. Thank god! I used to have to rely on bootlegs to see it. 😂 I refused to watch in out-of-order increments.
I assume they used to upload them one right after the other but because some would finish uploading and processing before others, they only appeared in slightly the right order.

Been getting new SNL notifications for the last few months, but haven't watched till now - Colin and Michael still got it - at least this one. Great new cast members too.
They even put the other new guy as *The President*…in the cold open… of the season premiere… as his very first sketch. Anyone of those individually would be insane.

I've been a fan for over a decade and I feel that this is the one of the best start to finish Weekend Updates that I've experienced in a while.
I think the entire cast is beginning to hit a legendary stride.
