The pen may have been produced in Japan, but Edding is a german brand. I love the sketching tools german and japanese manufacturers offer.

one of the mechanical pencils is Staedtler (German brand but that model was manufactured in Japan). it is an older model I think though. I purchased a set maybe 10 years back. it is very nice though, very nice weight.
