Hi, Thanks for your great video! Just 2 questions. 1-) Does the DMARC policy kick in when an inbound email fail the DKIM and SPF for does it kick in the email fail the DKIM or SPF? The reason why I am asking is let's say you are allowing an external email server like mailchimp to send emails on your behalf. They will be in your SPF record as include but obviously they will never pass the DKIM test as they do not have you private key to encript emails with. 2-) In your DMARC record was there anything that specified if it was a stric or a relaxed policy? Dmarc is for other mail servers to validate that incoming emails originated from an authorized server. If dkim and spf fail for an inbound email, dkim policy is kicked in. Strict vs relaxed was defined in the configuration. I believe I briefly touched on that in the video.

Hi, Great video!! Am I right in assuming, that DMARC is just a DNS record, and there isn't anything to configure inside postfixs main or master.cf for DMARC to work (Despite working DKIM and SPF is running)?

Under A Record Host "Mail" IP Adress Do we also need that? You dont explain anything. Im assuming for ours to work its not necessary!

You can configure as many domains as you like as long as the DNS records are published by the domain owners.

You are correct, dmarc is just a policy published in the DNS.

You still have to do it, since they can't alter your DNS records normally.

Did you check the logs ? Is opendkim running ?
