I bought this as my first plane and have taken it out twice, and flown for two batteries each time. I’ve landed it about eight times and no crashes so far. One time the landing gear bracket came loose but I just glued back on. The last outing the wind was six to eight mph and a little gusty. The safe mode is nice for takeoffs with some cross winds or gusts but I much prefer to fly in experienced mode. Safe mode climbs too much with high throttle and does not have enough control throw to manage the wind. I had many hours on real flight simulator before flying it, practicing landings and flying in the wind. I don’t know how people learn to fly RC planes without using a simulator.
Great video!! I am underside between umx turbo timber evolution and the umx apprentice stol. any advise or comment is appreciated. i am intemediate pilot , i have a very small park to fly. tks
@@IJustGotHereI watched a from.Brian Phillips with the evo and he said that it needs tons of programing. I just have a jumper t12 and my experience in programing is very limited. Did you do much programing?
Mine won’t start for some reason. Even when I charge the battery. The battery connector looks like it’s missing the middle pin is it supposed to be like that
I just looked and the airplane has only two pins. The battery will have three. The middle pin is for charging. Have you tried following the bind process and was your throttle all the way down?
I do! They are both great airplane. The Apprentice has a few less features. Like no lights or flaps but that is too keep the price down. Flight quality is there. 🙂🛩👍

Do you have a UMX Turbo Timber to make a comparison? That's what I have been crashing.
