Headsets are wonderful- I can’t hear/talk well on the phone without AirPods (doesn’t have to be AirPods.. any will do I am sure).. maybe that will help since it fits in your ear and sound waves not interrupted
I love what a slow burn this is. Nothing much happens for a long time, it slowly builds up to full-on freaky without you even noticing so that there's no real shock moment, just a gradual descent into darkness. The possible lore explanation at the end there ties it all together perfectly, too. As a Mainer, I've never heard of the Weller, but I love the idea. I DID immediately realize that the kid dressed up as something unconventional was going to be a clue, but of course, I've listened to hundreds of these things, I know what to look for…to a less-trained ear, it would have been perfectly subtle, and heck, even noticing it, I didn't have any idea what it meant. Well wrought all around!
Can you please explain to me what a weller is because I’ve tried googling it and all that comes up is this machine that looks like it might measure radiation or gas
@@captainbitsy1235 The story explains them, but I don't know if that's a real myth (again, speaking as a Mainer, I've never heard of it, so I can't attest one way or the other).
The reason they have medical personnel on site is so that they aren't liable for injuries or death of their contestants, or at least, to help prevent that stuff from happening, the real creepypasta is them just getting sued to the point of no return
I love this guy his stories never cease to interest me and he always has at least a 20 minute video he hardly ever misses a day in normally post multiple a day at that

This is interesting especially what dan said, the island mimics you, my theory is that the weller is some kind of spirit protecting the island or maybe the island trying to communicate by mimicking the person’s thinking and Turing them into physical events but idk I would like to hear more theories
I think it's kinda vague, I don't understand what the lights were mimicking, or the bloodroots, I guess the woman that dealt with the bloodroots was into natural medicine so there's a tiny connection there but meh, still pretty loose, and the happy-go-lucky guy, like the ground was boiling? And the voices still don't make much sense.. pretty good story nonetheless, wish this was real folklore i could read about

Considering the aggressive guy who wanted to 'make nature his bitch' ended up being attacked by anthropomorphized trees, I think he might've been on to something. He brought hostility and was ready to fight, and that's what it gave back to him. The others are a little more obscure, but we also don't learn much about their personal lives - presumably they all brought their own baggage to the island.

I was listening to this while in my high school band's discord server, and right near the end at around 45mins, one of my friends joined and said "Hey" kinda loudly and i felt my heart stop. I yelped "JESUS CHRIST" and my friend asked what we were listening to.

This is without a doubt my new favorite creepy pasta ever. I could have done without the explanation at the end with Dan the kayaker. I don’t think that added anything to the story. If you’re keen enough you would have picked up all that information on your own while listening. I loved this though. Seriously good.
I suffer with bad anxiety and panic attacks and when I start to feel it coming on I find ANY video of yours and listen to it because your voice is one of the most soothing voices out here and it's like no time before I feel the anxiety/panic backing off and leaving me alone. I just had a dream of an island not too long ago. I was there with family and other people, but me and a few other went into a small forest, and there where 2 severely decayed bodies, and before we know it the bodies grabbed and ripped apart a few of the guys there. These "zombies" I guess u would call it were very strong, but they are fragile so some of us escaped by hitting back and running. There were guns on the ground for some reason, so we picked them up just in case. The guns lead me to believe this island and the bodies were from soldiers. When I was running back to the main crowd of people, I saw a glimpse at the other side of the island was a small abandoned warship. To cut the story shorter, that night on the island, we had a grp of ppl gaurding the rest who are sleeping due to us reporting what we saw. But I had the strongest feeling of dread ever so I stood watching as well. And then all of a sudden a huge swarm of the creatures burst out from the trees towards us. It was dark, there were gunfire, screams, screeching and sounds of flesh ripping. Idk what's happening, I ran and pushed past anything and anybody and got to the beach. I jumped into the water and swam hard as hell, I looked back and there were just dark figures moving. As I swam away and looked into the horizon, I saw the glow of city lights from mainland (picture that scene in Spirited Away when Chihiro tried to run away on the first night and when she reached the water's edge, there were just orange glowing lights from boats). As I was swimming away, I heard a small boat nearby, so I swam towards it. As I got on, I begged for the man to bring me back to mainland and he agreed. But I still felt something was off. As the boat moved for what felt like hours, I felt myself drifting off but I kept catching the man eyeing me. And then I realized the boat was moving, but we weren't getting further from the island at all. For some reason at that point, my brain told me that this may be a dream, and I can't escape the nightmare yet. So I sighed and told the man to bring me back to the island, he did so but didn't say a word. Ik this is all over the place but I really tried to cut the story short a lot...so it kinda didn't make sense. Idk just sharing a nightmare

But no I didnt dream of it again, tho I always had dreams of other places in the same world. It's not always the same location, but sometimes when i return to that dream another night, I can see previous locations which Ive visited before. It's literally like my second life which I cant control fully. I dream of that world once every few weeks, and its always the places I know but different in many ways, or of new locations which ive never seen before.... Sometimes a few weeks after the dream, I would be out with my family somewhere and i get deja vu of the place I dreamed of... tho the location is always different from the dream but it looks and feels familiar.

I dreamt that I and several thousands of other people were held captive and hunted in a massive facility by unknown creatures. They released us in one big wave and pursued us as we tried to escape. It felt like I ran through an entire continent. I was the only one who managed to escape over two sets of massive wire fences, to freedom. The immense feeling of relief that washed over me felt so real and lasted long after I woke up. Years later I returned to that place, remember what had occurred last time yet having to do it all over again. On that second dream, I don't remember escaping. I don't think I did escape.

Creepypastas have this kind of definitive characteristic. Always messes with your mind. And scares you not in the way cliché movies do. Perfectly written and unique. I can't be the only one who thinks this
I love these stories by Mr. Creeps. For anyone that’s interested the blue islands are located around the channel, the wella islands are located near Sri Lanka and the Weller islands are located near Ontario Canada.
This one was a good one, probably one of the best I've heard in a long time amongst any of these. As a former heavyweight cage fighter who believed strongly in the Second Amendment, a lot of stories fall short in any sort of chilling effect for me or entertainment value. This one was definitely an awesome story.
I usually listen to you while falling asleep, as the avarage quality of most creepypastas honestly are quite bad, so I can zone out as i don't really get attached to them. This was a really good one. So you owe me an hour of sleep, damnit.
One of those stories I just keep rewinding as I run errands. I love stories like this and the dialogue was written very well! I also love how it doesn't rely on gore.
Look Mr. Creeps ain't bad but he needs to improve on his tone control. He also doesn't really change the emotion he gives to characters and adds an "uh" at the end of his words. Some videos are better than others but not many.
I love his voice he's amazing god job 10/10 I'm going to recommend you to all my friends will love theses story's I have been watching you for 2 1/2 years and your stories still entertain me
Fantastic characters, pacing, and atmosphere! Feels like a modern take on The Willows. I wanted to tell the author how much I enjoyed it but he's been removed from Reddit. My favorite moment was the video showing the ex-military man seeing something so terrible on the island he wet himself followed by ominous crunching.
The story was intriguing, creepy, and I love the increase in stories taking place in my home state. Thought it confuses me when they say Portland Maine right but the other places aren't. Oh well.

To cut the story shorter, that night on the island, we had a grp of ppl gaurding the rest who are sleeping due to us reporting what we saw. But I had the strongest feeling of dread ever so I stood watching as well. And then all of a sudden a huge swarm of the creatures burst out from the trees towards us. It was dark, there were gunfire, screams, screeching and sounds of flesh ripping. Idk what's happening, I ran and pushed past anything and anybody and got to the beach. I jumped into the water and swam hard as hell, I looked back and there were just dark figures moving. As I swam away and looked into the horizon, I saw the glow of city lights from mainland (picture that scene in Spirited Away when Chihiro tried to run away on the first night and when she reached the water's edge, there were just orange glowing lights from boats).
As I was swimming away, I heard a small boat nearby, so I swam towards it. As I got on, I begged for the man to bring me back to mainland and he agreed. But I still felt something was off. As the boat moved for what felt like hours, I felt myself drifting off but I kept catching the man eyeing me. And then I realized the boat was moving, but we weren't getting further from the island at all. For some reason at that point, my brain told me that this may be a dream, and I can't escape the nightmare yet. So I sighed and told the man to bring me back to the island, he did so but didn't say a word.
Ik this is all over the place but I really tried to cut the story short a lot...so it kinda didn't make sense. Idk just sharing a nightmare

But no I didnt dream of it again, tho I always had dreams of other places in the same world. It's not always the same location, but sometimes when i return to that dream another night, I can see previous locations which Ive visited before. It's literally like my second life which I cant control fully. I dream of that world once every few weeks, and its always the places I know but different in many ways, or of new locations which ive never seen before.... Sometimes a few weeks after the dream, I would be out with my family somewhere and i get deja vu of the place I dreamed of... tho the location is always different from the dream but it looks and feels familiar.
@@silverspaz3366 Your experience sounds similar to mine. I also experience recurring nightmares of a location. I dreamt that I and several thousands of other people were held captive and hunted in a massive facility by unknown creatures. They released us in one big wave and pursued us as we tried to escape. It felt like I ran through an entire continent. I was the only one who managed to escape over two sets of massive wire fences, to freedom. The immense feeling of relief that washed over me felt so real and lasted long after I woke up. Years later I returned to that place, remember what had occurred last time yet having to do it all over again. On that second dream, I don't remember escaping. I don't think I did escape.

For me I dont have any repeats so its really weird. Plus it happened since 2014... over 80 dreams of the same world but different locations, it's so weird that i remember then vividly and can link them together.

This was a good story I was not expecting that holy shizz and tbh after hearing that I think it’s about the islands because they all saw different different things because bloody roots could be a blood island, talking could be death island, eating could be gluttony island, and for the wood people idk why but I swear I’ve saw something like that. This one was a good one, probably one of the best I've heard in a long time amongst any of these. As a former heavyweight cage fighter who believed strongly in the Second Amendment, a lot of stories fall short in any sort of chilling effect for me or entertainment value. This one was definitely an awesome story.

Look Mr. Creeps ain't bad but he needs to improve on his tone control. He also doesn't really change the emotion he gives to characters and adds an "uh" at the end of his words. Some videos are better than others but not many.

Fantastic characters, pacing, and atmosphere! Feels like a modern take on The Willows. I wanted to tell the author how much I enjoyed it but he's been removed from Reddit. My favorite moment was the video showing the ex-military man seeing something so terrible on the island he wet himself followed by ominous crunching.
