I suppose really, the reason son of dork never really took off because the sound was inauthentic to the band itself. James Bourne, clearly inspired by the pop punk bands of the US and want to emulate that sound and song writing to himself after Busted split up, which is a noble effort, but it just looks like a veneer to what's actually not there. James would never have experienced anything this song is about. It's pure fantasy. Which is what he wanted. To be in a pop punk band.

The third dude is Chris Leonard and he's the Lead Guitarist and backup vocals. The fourth is Steve Rushton who is he Bassist plus lead vocals. Then the last but no least is Danny Hall who is the Drummer.
