- #RAPMAN (Director), attended the premiere of SUPACELL in London which streams on Netflix from 27th June. Rapman was joined by the series’ cast including #TOSINCOLE (Michael Lasaki), NADINE MILLS (Sabrina), ERIC KOFI-ABREFA (Andre), CALVIN DEMBA (Rodney), JOSH TEDEKU (Tazer), ADELAYO ADEDAYO (Dionne) MICHAEL SALAMI (Gabriel) SACHEZ BROWN (Energy Hunter) and GHETTS (Crazy)
Supporting cast were also in attendance, including, DJ CUPPY, RAYXIA OJO, GIACOMO MANCINI, ANDY THOMPSON, AKAI COLEMAN and XAVIEN RUSSELL.
SUPACELL is about a group of five ordinary people who unexpectedly develop superpowers. They have little in common except for one thing: they are all Black South Londoners. One man, Michael Lasaki, must bring them all together to save the woman he loves.
SUPACELL WILL BE AVAILABLE ON NETFLIX FROM 27 JUNE 2024

EACH SEASON GETS BETTER AND BETTER. EVERY EPISODE SURPASSES THE NEXT. JUST THE MIXTURE OF CHARACTERS AND THEIR LINES. MICHAEL CHARACTER AND TAZ JUST ONE OF A KIND !!!!

The fact that they are special because of Sickle Cell. That is what got me hooked. Making something amazing that comes from a disease that only black people have, the story line is way more than love. It’s rewarding!!

I currently live in SW and close to Brixton and love it. Proper accent not fake. Amazing.
I didn’t care that it was an all black cast. I’m happy they took a story such as this and put it out. It was great! Showed different angles and types of black Brits from hood rats to Medical workers. Great story done very well. There are a couple of scenes that leave you going, what? But then again, so does other super hero shows. Wow, it’s FIRE!

Netflix, pick this up for multiple seasons! I am so over super hero shows/ hate marvel but, I LOVED this. Superb! Incredible acting, writing, directing, editing, the works! Love that all the characters are wonderfully real. They all have things they are amazing at but, have flaws too. It’s sooo good! Watched it in one night!
