I used to live for my horses! Unfortunately I haven’t been able to ride because of surgeries on neck and back. Only a true horse person can understand what a loss it is. I found your channel and love your horses and the fact you and your husband do so much together, and your obvious love of the animals. Never take for granted what you have! It takes a lot of HARD work to have what you have! Stay sweet, and kind!
@@beathefry things are good, doing my gardening. Won’t be long and I’ll be canning. Right now I’ve been rehabbing a squirrel…he has an attitude but won’t be able to be released due to his injuries.
I feel your pain at not being able to ride. I can say that because I am there too. Age has not treated me kindly and riding again is not in my future any more. So yes I do feel your pain because it is also my own.
That waterfall was beautiful! Growing up in the mountains of Virginia we had a lot of water falls. Nearly every creek had one at some point. I really miss seeing them and wading the creeks, playing in the falls. What an amazing childhood I had!
Miss all the water in Mass. too. In Texas now. The trees are so short and no evergreens, little natural variety and far apart- zilch rocks! They are small also. Huge beautiful sky though.
Thank you for sharing this with all of us. I will never be able to ride a horse again, but I have had a love of horses since I was very young, but my mother got rid of all the horses and put the saddle in the attic. I used to go up and pretend I was riding. I am now 83 and this has been amazing, being able to share with you. Thank you again from a grateful older person. You go girl! 🥰 I love the fact that you are living my dream. ❤❤❤
The horses are really fit - afternoon all that fast action, they have to be! But I trust they took you on a shortcut back to the ranch, not another 4-hour ride!
Thank you for this amazing video. I taught 4th grade at an American School in Mexico where I met the love of my life. We were told our different cultures would cause a divorce but here we are happily married 48 years later. We have a lot in common with you and Kyle. Horses are my passion and my husband does all of the maintenance work required.😂
Bringing me back to when I had my heart horse and the freedom of cantering through the trails❤No other feeling like in the entire world❣️This is why I know for SURE there are horses in heaven ❤️🙏🏼💯
Food looked delish, no worries Kyle Mexican food can be messy eatin’ that’s part of the fun! The ride looked so amazing too and lovely to see the healthy horses!❤❤❤
Once again, so amazing!! And the horses! So well mannered! I also love how grateful you are about it!! Obviously not everyone can have that experience, and you know that. I’m so happy there are equestrians like you to make this world a better place.
This is without doubt one of my favourite TH-cam videos...ever. Thank you for taking me along, it was an amazing time. Your speedy at thecend, about riding for as long as you can, brought a lump to mtmy throat. XX
Thank you for letting me see what you see on horseback. Going the backrooms in car you see so much, but on horseback a whole other world, our world , that few really see. My heart leaps in my chest ! How wonderful! Thank You!
WOW! Just found this video Shae!! Loved it, thanks for sharing. I would LOVE to experience something like that!! Yes, my heart is in the same place, out there riding!! That was beautiful country.
I had the joy of riding outside Puerta Vallarta Mexico, there were loose dogs many places along the way. They loved to bark like crazy while running around the horses feet, at a trot or canter especially it seemed. One particular one even nipping madly. The horses seemed completely used to it, it was just me they seemed to make nervous! Chickens and children were often suddenly all around us too, but everyone seemed to coexist well. I was not a very experienced rider outside of the ring and all of this made me feel... well, I couldn't believe it! I could also not keep my horse from galloping after the wild people I was with, so it was pretty nuts. Once I realized the horse could go no faster I came to enjoy it all. She was a complete sweetheart otherwise, and the more I relaxed the more I felt we were working together. It's not like I could just dismount because I had no idea where I was. Now I know better about knowing the people and horses I spend time with. Miss horses though, it's been a while!
So appreciate the filming you do on the horse in motion which gives your viewers the feeling of riding themselves without the motion. I, or anyone, 34:13 who has ridden knows the wonderful exhilarating feeling . I thank you for all your delightful clips a day especially those filmed on horseback galloping. ❤
I found your channel a couple of weeks ago and love watching and learning from your experiences. I have only riden horses a few times in my life and had some fear of them, only now leaning so much more. Every aninmal deserves care, love and respect. Thank you for sharing your passion!
The only way I see and ride horses is from you. And I am gratefull that you take us along.Horses are just not part of my real life here anymore and miss it daily and makes me ever so sad and depressed. But look forward to your videos. Thanks
Perfect escapism. Your videos really cheer me up. I love how you film the rider's eye view so its like we are coming along with you on those beautiful horses. Thanks so much for sharing your amazing holiday!
I absolutely loved this! What a fantastic bunch of people that hosted you!! Also, i knew you were 5'. But...until i saw you in the market i never put it together. You are so adorably charming and cute!!! Great vacation!❤
Hi Shae and Kyle, This just popped up in my feed and what a wonderful little get-away for you two last year. This was before I started following you. The colors and history of Mexico are spectacular. I know your hands are full now, but someday, you will find the time and money to do something like this again.
I just love watching you guys. I owned my horses when I lived in California and trailered them to the mountains and desert camping and it was awesome. So fun watching you guys God Bless you can do this.
Very happy you and Kyle get to have this beautiful adventure! I personally like NM much better than the Wyoming trip but I live NM and have spent time in Taos and Santa Fe. So happy you took the energy and effort to bring us along with you! Absolutely wonderful for me personally. Thank you.
I don't think I've ever seen so many dogs! Re: your meat comment. I'm kind of that way with meat too. I only eat very small amounts of meat, but it has to be from one of our local, familiar, small farms. They raise what they use plus some extra to sell. I'm just sitting here enjoying the markets, the horses, the scenery, and the clippity-clop sounds. Wow! That meal and a waterfall too! ...with ice cream! Are you sure you didn't book 'heaven' for this vacation?
My cousin & I used to go out and ride for an hour or two after dinner every evening. I lost 15 pounds in two weeks just sitting on a horse. Horseback riding and snow skiing are magical. One you sit and the weight just jiggles off triming your waste & hips and toning the inside of your thighs. The other, you can stand on two sticks sliding downhill and burn 500 calories per hour while your muscles grow and all those hot buttered rums melt off. So easy.
Looks like a wonderful vacation. I'll admit I'm jealous but at a few days close to 78, I couldn't do that. Thank you for letting me share the beauty and culture of the country with you.
What a amazing ride and beautiful trails and wonderful horses. I live vicariously through you on such an amazing adventure. My new horse will soon be ready and I can't wait to start on our own adventures.
Hi Shea, Thank you so much for taking all of us along on your rides! To see what you see! Armchair riding at its best! I'm 76 now and it brings back so many happy memories for me! 😊
Thank you for sharing your equestrian vacation in Mexico. The rancho Las Cascadas is amazing. The trail rides was stunning. The picnic at the waterfall was beautiful. Thank you so very much for sharing.
That was fantastic, it made me homesick. My whole equestrian beginning was in Arizona riding cross country. Your hosts rolled out the red carpet for you. What an honor! ❤❤❤❤love
Thanks for taking us on your amazing vacations! Horses do give us wings to fly. I ride my pretty APHA bay/black tobiano filly all over the hills in San Diego county and it's so awesome!
That store looked interesting on the way to the waterfall. You should have shown us your snack. The lunch looked beautiful. I am starving here and getting so jealous. But I am glad you have this chance.
This was a fantastic video of you and Kyle in Mexico. Thank you for sharing it. The stallion you were on was so layed back he was gorgeous. Lorna England
Ohhhh Shea! Ahh-mazing! And you look so beautiful, as always! ❤. The burrows were just too cute! PS. I’ve never ridden a horse for more than a 2 hours. You must be sore 🎉😂😅
So beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing. I would ride out in the open every day if I could too. Maybe not 5 hours every day. Last summer I rode 5 hours up & down hills in Yellowstone on a Belgian & my legs were shaking when I got off. LOL. I think my favorite vacation was a cattle drive up in the Sierras between Bishop, CA & Mammoth, CA. Miles & miles of nothing except the sweet horses, cows & other riders.
I miss riding, I can no longer ride due to old injuries. My last horse I had was a Paso Fino he was soooo smooth. Unfortunately, he developed a congenital disease and had to be euthanized. My husband was not a horse person, he didn't ride he preferred another kind of horsepower. We managed to do what each of us enjoyed. We would go boating and come home and I would go riding. I miss them both.

Thank you much taking me to Mexico without the cost, hahaha. Enjoyed it tremendously!!
I just admire you for having a big heart. It makes me wish I 😂 was a horse.( Keep on trotting )
I love Kyle. He makes me laugh. You two are just perfect ❤

This is what I imagine heaven looking like!
What a wonderful vacation! Thanks for sharing.
I'm glad Gigolo was fine with the loose and barking dogs! He is such a nice red color stallion.
He’s such a good boy!
