This was a really helpful comparison. I expect messages for web to catch up to mighty text quickly but for now, if you're a paid mighty text user, it's still more comprehensive than messages for web.
Thank you for the timely video- this was practically the only source I could find that compares these two different programs, I really appreciate it Also whoa, that's a huge price jump of MightyText Pro, aa
Thanks! i added some more notes in the description of this video of stuff that I forgot to record, or left out due to not wanting it to exceed 10 minutes. :)
Does anyone know if there's a way to get Android Messages to notify you via email or a pop-up on screen of an incoming text? MightyText can send you an email.
Hi, i don't know about email for AM, but MightyText does. For Android Messages Web, it pops up if you enable it in the settings on the 3 dot thing on the upper right of the list of conversations. (not the 3 dot thing on the upper right of the conversation thread itself, but on the list.) also make sure your Chrome permits notifications for this website.
On phone and tablet you can save the website on home screen and use it just as you would on comp with 1 caveat it's a web app and does not show notifications as Google is still working on web apps if you save it on a phone or tablet it will look dead on like the app on your main phone because it defaults into web app format not desktop

Great video, I wondered which was better and now I know. Thanks.
Thank you. You straightened me out on a couple things. :)
