You cake boy you soft as hell the drop tower is nowhere near what you talking about and he goes to a park that we all know all parks are having staff issues wtf it they fault you came in a dead day y'all be tripping judging parks off one visit make no sense
@@mobetterent.gamerzunited2529 yea, from a gp perspective (where the next nearest thrill park is carowinds, 6hrs away) this park is very nice. And the south is full of small and steep hills, so locals who have hiked before are used to the layout.
I have been to this park countless times since I grew up near it and we could get passes cheap. I think it’s such an underrated park overall, but I haven’t been since they’ve made changes and added hurricane harbor. The renovations they did on the ninja made it a lot smoother compared to what it was.
I came here just last summer and had a great time. My only regret was not getting there by opening time as I was told they let you ride Georgia Scorcher and Twisted Cyclone 30 minutes prior to park closing, but we didn't get into town until the middle of the night before and had noisy neighbors in the town home above us. I also didn't get a chance to check out Hurricane Harbor, but that didn't bother me too much as it didn't have much to offer in the first place, and I had much more waterpark the next day at Six Flags White Water.
I went there last Saturday for the first time and had lots of fun. Park needs another coaster to add with its current lineup. Ride twisted cyclone 3 times and it was so smooth and it was my first RNC ever. The park is very hilly kinda like Magic Mountain in way. My favorite ride was Goliath by far and there was hardly anyone in line so u could literally just jump right on it. You definitely got your exercise in the for days after walking around Six Flags over George for damn sure.
I did get lost a little bit when I came here, but sometimes on my first visit to a park, I don't mind getting lost, feels like I'm exploring the park and discovering new things. If I can walk into a new park and can already see everything and know where everything is, that can be a little boring sometimes. On repeat visits that's where weird layouts can be annoying. Looking at a map now, yeah the layout is pretty weird. The atmosphere was well above average for Six Flags (and above some Cedar Fair parks like Carowinds IMO) which makes up for that for me. I didn't have any major operations complaints when I went, every coaster was open (except Riddler Mindbender hadn't reopened yet) and running multiple trains. But I went in June (2021) not December, which probably makes a big difference. Not a top tier Six Flags park, but I enjoyed it more than I expected and hope I can make it back sometime. And that top 2 is great.
I was here yesterday, I was super impressed because I had somewhat low expectations but Goliath, Twisted Cyclone, and Riddler blew me away! (I love shwarzkopfs lol)
SFOG being my home park, I visit it as much as possible. I agree with your statements about the rides and park In general. Twisted Cyclone is a great little RMC that packs a great punch and addition to the park. Georgia Scorcher is a great standup coaster with a couple bumpy parts. Goliath is by far the best ride there and has some wonderful airtime moments especially those last bunny hills. Dare Devil Dive is a great coaster but the operations take forever. Mindbender has been going down hill since they upgraded it but it is still a great classic at the park. Batman is a awesome coaster with great views from all over the parking lot and gotham city. Blue Hawk isn't bad but isn't great the corkscrews at the end are my favorite parts. The Scream Machine is a great classic but wish they would find a way to smooth out the bottom of each hill. Superman is by far a solid #3 spot in the park with great views of the back of the park. This park is great, the layout isn't that easy and really we just need some upgrades before a new coaster shows up. If we get a new coaster, we need either a launch coaster or really long coaster to compare to Goliath and Scream Machine.
Great review as always! I’m headed here for the first time in October and I’m curious if you have a recommended strategy for hitting all the rides as I’ve heard it can get quite busy this time of year?
My strategy worked okay, but I think hitting Dare Devil Dive, Georgia Scorcher, and Twsited Cyclone first would be good. Goliath ops are good enough that you don’t have to hit it early.
Heyy SFOG is my home park. Idk what day your going but any time in october is pretty crowded because of fright fest and everything late is packed! If you want to hit all the main rides I would head to Twisted Cyclone first then head back left towards the entrance and make your way to georgia scorcher , and hit up dare devil, Mindbender, Batman, Goliath, and you can do Monster Mansion on the way. Then you walk through the kiddy area to get to the back like Superman, Scream Machine, and Blue hawk. Superman can take a long time so dont underestimate that line even if its short. Scream machine and blue hawk have manageable lines most times. and if you want on you way back up you can hit up mine train
I haven’t been to SFOG since 2018 and in almost every visit, a storm will appear out of nowhere while I’m at Hurricane Harbor. The operations have been screwed after the storm passed, in which that it’s likely that the weather can affect operations
I love how sprawling the park is, it's so fun to explore around. There's a lot more family options and weird entrainment then a lot of other six flags parks from what I know
Hey I know I’m a little late to the party but I’m going to this one in June, I’m curious abt which rides have the photo pass, cuz I’ve never been to six flags before
They need to revamp the end of the park. Gasm and blue ninja take alot of space. They should remove both and do a complete themed area with a signature coaster. That part of the park is depresing
Funnily enough that batman ride and the Dragon flier ride at Dollywood are the two rides I have experienced the most Gray out. I havent been to many theme parks though.
The park honestly doesn’t feel like it has a hilly setting and few rides use the terrain well. The only thing that feels hilly is the path elevation gain.
Can we please get rid of this guy how in the hell is he a coaster enthusiast what a joke mad cause he at a park he never been to and mad cause he doesn't know the layout is he serious

Great video! I enjoyed watching!
Goliath at georgia is so impressive to me and it looks good on the skyline

I get your point with the layout, but perhaps the weirdest part is that this wasn't my first visit, but the layout was still confusing to me.

I'm the opposite. I preferred Nemesis Inferno over Olympia Looping lol.

A launch coaster would be wonderful and I'm glad you like Superman. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
imo Batman the Ride at sfog is the best B&M invert i’ve ever been on, lol
It’s the best Batman clone for me.
Great review as always! I’m headed here for the first time in October and I’m curious if you have a recommended strategy for hitting all the rides as I’ve heard it can get quite busy this time of year?
If u get there early, Dare devil dive first because of the horrible capacity and slow ops

This park needs a launch coaster. Too bad the CEO doesn't wanna invest in rides for 2023.
A good idea if six flags doesn’t go bankrupt before 2025
We ain’t gettin’ one as long as he’s in charge.

Lives up to the name I suppose.
If you found Acrophobia to be painful / uncomfortable, imagine those people that were trapped at the top of that thing for over an hour.
Love this park. Goliath is soooo good
This is my park! I've been there twice I need to go back ASAP!
Batman coaster should have a fog machine around the layout 😊
This is my home park so I have a soft spot for it. Our lineup is really solid, but the lack of a launch coaster is like really noticeable

This park needs more roller-coasters
IDK why that Batman the Ride is so intense, I rode the one at SFSTL a couple weeks after and it was nowhere near as intense. Also the cubbies are back
If magic mountain got a hyper coaster then that would be so insane
You need to ride tc later in the day
I love six flags over georgias layout
That’s nice.
This is my home park and I'll tell you right now that some days they let you use those cubbies and some days the don't. No real rhyme or reason to it.
Interesting.
This park needs a few more roller-coaster
Yeah, the layout is 100% annoying at times.

I really love my home park. Even if the operations suck.🎢
