Love the way you explain everything so thoroughly Dr Doug , even us non technical fans can get an understanding ! Rayne is a wonderful dog . Can't wait to see how he gets on in future videos.
What a distinguished gentleman Rayne is. Thank you for helping him feel better. He has such beautiful ears, and it was interesting watching them move when you hit some tender areas. His parents are so kind to have rescued him and take care of him in his elder years. Bless them and bless you for making him more comfortable.
we just had to put our german shepherd down last month. she was 13, her name was Blair. we got her at 6 months old and she already had hip dysplasia. the last two years, she was like Rayne. unable to walk properly without a wheelchair, needed booties to keep from skinning her paws. i hope that Rayne can get some relief. the hardest part was her inability to walk and her incontinence combined. i hope that Raynes parents can have a less traumatic experience than i had and i hope Rayne will get to live his golden years without pain.
What a beautiful dog! I hope the adjustments helped Rayne, at least w/comfort, but hopefully with a little more mobility! His parents are really caring and loving people! Great video, explaining all the reasons and adjustments.
Hi Rayne - I hope you're feeling much better today; your mom and dad want you to be as happy as you can be and they are really smart to ask Dr. Doug to help you. You're one very handsome boy!
So glad for owners that bring their pets to you, doc. Why not do whatever you can to ensure quality of life... looking forward to seeing how Rayne incorporated your work and hopefully is walking better. ❣
Thanks for sharing your work with Rayne, Doc! The poor guy had head to toe issues, but he's got some age on him. I do hope that Rayne's parents bring him back to see you, Dr. Doug. I know that I require ongoing adjustments because my spine and spinal cord are a mess, too. Sometimes it seems that as soon as I walk out of the Doc's office and something has already slipped out. Yeah, I'm an oldie, too. Have a great week, everyone!!
We took our BullMastiff to a animal cracker after he slipped and fell down the stairs. He was jelly for her. Then he laid down and slept. 🥰 She moved and no one has replaced her.😫
I always admire the dedication of pet parents of challenged pets. Rayne is very sweet. It might be a good idea to have him groomed as it looks like he is shedding badly and a shave will help his sanitary area. Hope Rayne improves and comes back to see you again.
Rayne's daddy, here.... Rayne doesn't not have proper control over his bowels. And he often falls while pooping. This happened right before his visit with the doctor.
my senior german shepherd was double coated like Rayne and had similar issues with incontinence and mobility. she shed relentlessly, no matter what, and a shave was out of the question as double coated dogs can overheat and develop skin problems when shaved. we would use pet safe wipes to clean her up instead and came to live with the fact that her fur was going to be everywhere no matter what.
Rayne is a gorgeous boy! I pray that Rayne does much relief from you working on him Dr.W. Regardless even if Rayne still needs his wheels Rayne will always be gorgeous happy and loving life. Awesome job Dr.W
We always had German Shepherds in childhood and they are really wonderful dogs - so lovely to see gorgeous Rayne. You did help him su much - massage was something he really enjoyed.😊Perhaps he will come again?
I'm glad Rayne doesn't have degenerative myelopathy, because it's such an horrible disease. Thank you so much Dr Doug for helping this noble and handsome dog. I hope he will improve soon. His owners are really caring people and love him very much.
I can see that The owners love Rayne so much and that makes me happy and the Dr. Is very professional and explains everything he's doing to your doggie.
Dr Willen, I hope Rayne gets improved with your help, I know that it won’t be perfect 👌but if anyone can help him, then it’s definitely you. His owners are very nice 👍, Dr Doug, the way you demonstrate and explain everything is on another level, even if we don’t understand the medical terminology, you certainly do it so awesomely 👏. Enjoy your memorial weekend doc.
First time that I've watched your videos. Wish that I had a qualified dog chiropractor in my area to refer to. So relieved when you mentioned that you ruled out contraindications with the dog's veterinarian first. We have human chiropractors here that work on dogs and don't talk to the veterinarians first. I've never met a dog that did not like a good tail massage and stretch. Great video!
My aunt had a beautiful German Shepard that lived for 19 healthy years. I Hope Rayne gets some relief and have a few more years, he's only twelve he Can get better ❤️.
Rayne is a gorgeous German Shepherd!!💗 Truly sad when our angels get elderly and break down, dogs have short life as is!!😓 Thank you "Wonderful Dr Doug 🙏✨🥰💜🌷
Aww - poor boy! Considering his age, he's in pretty good condition otherwise... I'm just glad that Rayne has responsible owners who took him to see You, Dr Doug, before his atrophies grew any worse! Now, it looks like his condition can be managed well and hopefully he will regain more muscle control - especially of his bowels! No more styptic ice cubes, I hope... 😆 I'm really looking forward to seeing Rayne's progress and how much he improves! 👍

He's doing much better now, though not perfect. He still stumbles when he walks, but he walks much further now than he did earlier this year. He hasn't used his walker in a few weeks.
Wow, my 13 year old German Shepherd does almost the same thing. She crosses her feet the same way and has a hard time standing up. I keep thinking her times up but she seems so happy. I’ve taken her to the vet and the said it was just a nerve issue. I had no idea there were dog chiropractors. Im going to take her in.

It’s so heart wrenching when our beloved pets age and have health issues. Rayne is a beautiful dog. ❤️ Thank you for helping him Dr. Doug. 🙏🏻
