    What a distinguished gentleman Rayne is. Thank you for helping him feel better. He has such beautiful ears, and it was interesting watching them move when you hit some tender areas. we just had to put our german shepherd down last month. she was 13, her name was Blair. we got her at 6 months old and she already had hip dysplasia. the last two years, she was like Rayne. unable to walk properly without a wheelchair, needed booties to keep from skinning her paws. i hope that Rayne can get some relief. the hardest part was her inability to walk and her incontinence combined. i hope that Raynes parents can have a less traumatic experience than i had and i hope Rayne will get to live his golden years without pain.

      Rayne's daddy, here....
      Rayne doesn't not have proper control over his bowels. And he often falls while pooping. This happened right before his visit with the doctor.

    • @GG-ub5vz
      @GG-ub5vz 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      my senior german shepherd was double coated like Rayne and had similar issues with incontinence and mobility. she shed relentlessly, no matter what, and a shave was out of the question as double coated dogs can overheat and develop skin problems when shaved. we would use pet safe wipes to clean her up instead and came to live with the fact that her fur was going to be everywhere no matter what.

    First time that I've watched your videos. Wish that I had a qualified dog chiropractor in my area to refer to. So relieved when you mentioned that you ruled out contraindications with the dog's veterinarian first. We have human chiropractors here that work on dogs and don't talk to the veterinarians first. I've never met a dog that did not like a good tail massage and stretch. Great video!

    I love Rayne. How is he doing these days? I noticed his eyes were foggy... Which makes me wonder: Are there glasses or contact lenses for dogs? If they can't see very well, like humans, is there special glasses for them? And if not, why the hell not? If they can't see very well, they can't walk very well, either. Like a human. Let's make their quality of life the best it can be. It's not difficult.

    What you call "puppy sitting" Doug... if you see a horse doing that it is usually a sign of back problem but having said that we had a mare called Mossie that would sit like that from choice all her days lol I never owned a horse myself as they cost a small fortune in The UK but I worked with hundreds in my 3 years as a horse wrangler. When you went out riding Mossie ALWAYS had to be the lead horse on the hack. I think maybe she had been kicked or had a bad experience when she was younger. She was about 30 when I met her. Horses generally live til about 35. My ex husband had a German shepard called Sheba and she was arthritic in her back end in her later years and eventual the back legs went out from under her completely and she had to be put to sleep. That was in the late 80's there is a lot they can do now like come see Doug Willen but it is a know weakness of breed. Oh Doug so funny at the end when your allergies kicked in. I'm exactly the same with my 2 cats but I just load up on antihistamine lol xxx
