CB’s Mitchell & Cooper DeJean were the first two picks by the Eagles this year, they also added pass rusher Jalyn Hunt & LB Jeremiah Trotter who can cover sideline to sideline, so they are going to be much MUCH improved on their pass defense, that said, I expect the Eagles to be ahead in this game & force GB to pass, which could provide some #’s to their WR core. I think D Wicks is the sleeper in this game for them.
They could be improved but adding 2 rookies doesn’t automatically mean your secondary has been solved. More CBs fail than succeed in the first 2 rounds 🙏🏼

Hey guys. I'm a pretty solid fantasy basketball vet (46 league wins out of 100). But I'm also a complete noob just starting fantasy football for the first time. From the first few drafts (yahoo, standard H2H points) I have now figured out how this probably works. Please confirm if my thinking is correct or not. First thing, every week we HAVE to start exactly one QB, one TE, one defense and one kicker +2 WR +2 RB + 1 flex right? If that's the case, is it generally better to draft just one really good QB, TE. K, defense each and start these every week? Or it is better to draft 2 QBs and 2 TEs, maybe two defenses to rotate them week to week? The downside of that would be less options to draft some very good WRs for the bench (like 4-5 instead of 6-7). Also is the opponent level generally the main factor in choosing who to start and who to sit in our teams? Or the top WR/RB options drafted in the top 4-5 rounds should just be starting every week when the're available? Then there are the overlapping BYE weeks, injuries etc. that may lead to having 6-7 players unavailable for a given week. Does that mean we have to plan ahead and make a lot of waiver pickups basically almost every week? Sorry for the noob questions :) I want to get into the game and enjoy it as much as you guys been doing.
I don't do Yahoo type leagues much anymore, but I think the general idea is you can go without 2 K's or Def/St. They can (typically) be your last 2 picks. Kickers are fickle. Pick 1, then stream it for the bye week. For Def, if you really (and I mean...REALLY) like 1, you can pick 1 a bit earlier, but just stream 1 for a bye week. Your stud players should be playing every week, barring something very very very unusual. Personally, I'd rather start a Ceedee Lamb against a good Def as opposed to starting a mid level or 3rd WR against a bad defense. Good players usually get targets, marginal ones don't. At TE in that type of league I like 1 really good one, just stream 1 for the bye week. Heavy on solid RB's and WR's. QB you can wait on, IMHO. The difference between the #1 QB and #12-#13 QB is far less than the difference at other positions. Watch your bye weeks when you draft. I personally want my starting RB's and WR's on different bye weeks so that only 1 of them is down in any given week. Less important for the backups, but I maintain bye week functionality. IE, if I draft Lamb, I don't want 2 backups with the same bye week as him, since they can't fill in. I only use it as a tie breaker for picking guys of the same relative value. In other words, Lamb's bye week is Week 7. If I'm picking a bench WR, and I'm deciding between 2 players, I take the guy who covers a bye week. You'll need to watch the waiver wire obviously, but hopefully you're not making a lot of pickups, except for guys at the bottom of the roster. All that being said, I personally do one main Dynasty league that's been around almost 20 years, and I'm heavy on best ball. However, those views above don't really reflect those 2 types of leagues.

Yep! A couple things to consider there: 1) Andrews was more of a decoy than a healthy player. Suffered a serious injury towards the end of the regular season 2) We have a large sample size with the splits, which is what I prefer to rely on rather than just 1 game 3) I labeled Zay a must start 😂
12 team i got jamar in the 1st, drake fell in the 3rd, aiyuk fell in the 4th, and then waddle was still available in the 5th lmfao. I really am having a hard time figuring out who to put on the bench, but it's gotta be aiyuk I guess.
