They had a note was saying the child was gone...kidnappers are not known to stay in the home. This house was old and large and convoluted when they asked the father to look. Why did they not look themselves....it is the investigator's job. It is incredible they would ask the father to do this. Jon Benet was found in a room never used and out of the way. Horrible.
I still 100% believe that it was an all family involved cover-up. Who would write multiple randsom notes knowing she was dead in the basement...while the clock was ticking. Not to mention the exact $118,000.00 demand
I don't think it was the family but there was so much bizareness. Like they only had that ONE cop Linda there. They had a kidnapping letter but one cop to be at the house? All their friends came over and still that Linda cop didn't secure the scene. They should have had the family and friends out of the house from the start and police looking for evidence in the house. Common sense went straight out the window with this one. Someone who had access to know what the Christmas bonus was. I would think not a lot of people would be privy to that information.
Exactly.. and here's something interesting that nobody ever seems to talk about John Ramsey was a naval officer he is also a yachtsman he understands and knows how to tie complex knots the not around the broken broom handle was complex and I find that quite suspicious

I don’t know if you’re able to find it on TH-cam or any place else, but at one time Dr. Phil had Burke, Ramsay, John Bonet’s older brother on his show, and was interviewing him. It was interesting.
I've always thought it was a family member(s) with the help of a friend. I saw one special where the dad and a (male) friend found the body in a room that wasn't used nor did the police bother checking. Did the dad tell them that the room was never used so they wouldn't check? Then you have the jealousy of Burke and mom (she competed but never won a pageant); the exact amount for ransom; the words "we have your daughter"; and the hearts used to dot the letter I in the note. If the killer(s) had their daughter, why was she found in the house? The mom dotted the letter I when she wrote notes. Then, of course, the $ amount matched Mr. Ramsey's bonus. If Mrs. Ramsey did it, she took it to her grave and no one will ever know...except the mom and JonBenet.
There's literally zero evidence against him. The blood in the underwear doesn't match, they didn't get him to confess when they interrogated him as a child, and he certainly couldn't have done any of this cover-up. People only think it's Burke because he's awkward.
The new background is a bit harsh on the eyes for me personally. As for the case, one thing that really confuses me is why someone would demand a ransom for someone you've already killed and then leave the body on site where it will be discovered. That is extremely unlikely to result in receiving a ransom. It makes me believe the ransom demand was just a red herring and the odd $118M figure was also probably intended to be one as well. These cases always make me think of Jessica Lunsford and what happened to that poor girl. It angers me.
This case freaked my mom out since we were the same age and live in Colorado and looked similar. When I went to CU Boulder I was just walking with some friends when we ended up close to her house by accident. I think one of my friends wanted to get as close as they could to it but it didn’t feel right to me, so I passed. I’ve heard so many local and private rumors from the news to family friends that allegedly knew the Ramsey’s over the years that I don’t know what to think.
The house looks so small from the front but that place was gigantic if you see it from the side. Not surprising the family didn't hear anything. I never realized how big it actually was until like a year ago
jonbenét was born in 1990 which was a few months before i was born in early december. i've watched a bunch of programs on jonbenét's case. it was so sad she was just 6 years old, i think they found the killer i'm not 100% sure if the guy is actually the killer. jonbenét would have turned 33 years old on august 6, 2023
I think i'm in the minority opinion with this case but i think it's correct. I've spent a lot of time consuming facts about the case including listening to & reading books by Steve Thomas and also the Ramsey's. In my opinion none of the theories involving the family really make sense when you focus on what happened to Jonbenet. People who say "the family covered it up" fail to mention that "covering it up" means brutally strangling your daughter. Look at the autopsy photos, if you are willing to. This wasn't rope tied around her neck, it was very intentional. Then add in the partial male dna found mixed with blood that doesn't belong to any of them. Then the fact that she was likely SA with a paint brush. I get all the "strange things" the Ramsey's supposedly do, but they don't explain the crime itself.
A lot of people think Burke did it because of his nervous smiling during the Dr. Phil interview, and supposedly said something incriminating - in the background - during his mother’s 911 call. I don’t recall what it was. Those things don’t mean anything no matter how much one wants them to. The kid grew up in an affluent family, somewhat eccentric and unconventional, and has dealt with these accusations and scrutiny since he was 9. Easy to understand he was a neurotic mess by the time of that interview.
The issue with the 911 call was that Burke could be heard in the background but Patsy said he was asleep. This is part of the theory that Burke accidentally killed her, perhaps with the Taser, and all the weird evidence and body mutilation was to cover that up. Part of the cover up was lying about him being asleep when he wasn't. It was a dumb lie, not necessary, but I think John & Patsy were in panick mode of not losing 1, but both of their kids in 1 night.
I think him being responsible is plausible not in any nefarious way, but just a sibling fight and he hit too hard and they covered it up to protect him and so they don’t lose a second child.

Actually None of the Handwriting Experts brought in by the Boulder PD would definitively state that Patsy wrote the note, in fact most of them said it was highly unlikely. JonBenet had Not wet the bed that evening, that is obvious from the actual crime scene photos from that morning. As for the window well, the crime scene photos show a clear disturbance there, that and there were matching packing peanuts found in the room JonBenet was found in and said window well.

This narrator forgot to say that the Ramsey home was one of a "Tour of Christmas Homes" that is an annual event in Boulder. This tour would have made a break-in unnecessary. [ I have no love of child beauty contests, but my daughter watched an Ann-Margaret Special with glitz and gown when she was only 4 and replicated the whole thing, with mic, "dress" and song for her grandmom and myself. I never put her into a contest but did put her in ballet a few years later as a result.] Jon Benet's mom was a beauty pageant contestant herself so it was not that odd. The pedophile list is also not unusual for any part of the world, for a surprise, check your own area. There was a break-in assault on another child that was ignored by local police who would not allow participation by other law enforcement groups once it was declared a homicide. They had no real expertise but a huge eye on the press coverage. I am convinced their treatment of the family was responsible for Patsy Ramsey's cancer resurgence which killed her.
17:37 The order in how Jon was incapacitated makes no sense. He said the tazer was first, then duct tape. I would think to use the duct-tape 1st, then tazer in case the victim screams. The rest of their speculative reasoning sounds like projection on their part. Whoever wrote the note, their goal was to molest the victim, full stop. Writing, "I wanted to hurt you by taking what you love most." To me, that implies the Murderer had been slighted or perceived slight, that made him feel murder and 🍇 will "level" the power and/or money gap. I hope they solve this case in my lifetime.
I like the background to this. I feel absolutely horrible for her family members that have no idea what happened to her and I hope someday the truth will come out
Other documentaries about the case say that the evidence was contaminated and some of it lost. You might want to check out other versions, even if you don't do a reaction.
Title of the video, and they did not say anything with reference to the title. I hate thumbnail bait like that. Most murders and crimes for that matter, go unsolved.
I wish murder cops wouldn't "suspect" I have nightmares about getting railroaded because it's convenient and no one else is investigated. Please, investigate the evidence. If you do it right, it'll take you to your culprit.
I think it was a neighbor or someone they knew. How did they know how much his bonus was. Who would be that comfortable staying that long in the house? The note and leaving her body there was to mentally mess with them. It was personal and he’s probably a pedophile that’s been watching the child for a while. So sad.
You’re blue da ba de da ba di…. I’m very sad this little girl died. I remember it all over the news but at this point it’s been harped on too much. Far past the time to let her rest in peace. Love the channel but not watching this story again. Was just concerned because you’re blue . Da ba di…
My belief - dad was s**ually abusing Jon Benet… Patty became pissed and well….. as for the $118,000 - interesting amount as that was the exact amount of the father’s bonus check.
The Colorado detective had DNA tested that the police had refused to test and it came back Mexican dependent. The parents had let anyone and everyone who wanted to come into the house and bragged about their money and bonus. They had hired a lot of illegal workers because they were cheap. The killer could easily slip back across the border and never have their DNA tested. Any pedophile could of gotten into the home the night before because they had a huge open house party. This is just stuff I've watch or read and all I am is a arm chair detective. I also heard the police department and the DA's office hated each other and for years this allowed lots of criminals get away.
@@Cassxowary Hey, that's what the detective show I watched said. The family had plenty of money, but they liked to hire illegals because they could pay them less. They had no way nor did they care about the people they hired to put up Christmas decorations. The police department wouldn't submit the DNA and was in war with the county DA. The show I watch said this outside detective got the DNA tested and with the results it came back as Mexican DNA. Well was a couple of men that did odd jobs around that time and one guy had made other families kinda catch a vibe about how he was around kids. This guy was long gone by the time the police got around to checking for anyone. The show said the wife was basically having a open house so she could brag and showoff. It would of been easy for a ex worker to blend in and hide until the family was asleep. Since nobody has any background on illegals think how easy a pedophile could hurt/kill a child and just disappear. I'm not singling out any race just going by a TV show. It's my opinion that the killer will never be found and more than likely has moved on and did something like this again. Keep in mind that I got my armchair detective degree at DISHTV detective university. I'm disabled and watch way too much TV, but I might have figured out how to hide a body, or at least that's what I let my hubby think. If you thought I was smart enough to collect and run the DNA, THANKS! Just pray that I never use my degree for anything or to catch anyone. Hope you have a great day!
...you need to pay attention better. Pineapple was mentioned because the theory was that her brother was pissed his sister ate some of his pineapple and hit her in a rage which accidentally killed her. Not that hard to follow along..
@@strider9184 it's not necessarily about that theory. From what i remember, the parents said they didn't feed her pineapple that night, that she was asleep when they got home from the Christmas party and they tucked her in bed right away. The authorities found fingerprints on the bowl, belonging to the mom and burke i believe. So the question is, how did she get pineapple in her system? That leads some people to create theories.

And from what i remember, they said there was fresh fallen snow on the ground with no prints walking to or from the house in it. I feel that the family (one or all) did it, and they all banned together to cover it up. and then one of the ppl who were in the house the day of police being there, I think helped remove evidence for the family, why would someone also be cleaning up the house before the police even really get the investigation going?
There was No Snow on the Southside of the home, where the infamous window well was located, hence why they were no footprints (clearly seen in crime scene photos from that morning).
Why do they assume only men would… but I hope & pray that soul is well wherever they are now, and Maddie McCann too, but sadly she might be a sex slave or regular slave sold to rich middle easterners… if I remember right, someone had seen a little girl matching her description on a ferry to North Africa on a known trafficking route where there’s also easy transport to the Middle East, and she was in her pyjamas and asking the man with her if they’re gonna see mummy soon, but beyond thinking it’s a bit weird, didn’t think of anything until hearing about her missing… and trying to contact them and ask them might still be a possibility… And let’s not pretend it’s impossible and unlikely for the father/parents to pay off the authorities to ignore their doing. And paedophilia and being a child sex offender are two different things…
I just repeat what a TV show said about Mexican DNA, but here you are blaming Middle Eastern People. Don't throw rocks if you live in glass houses is something you may need to take to heart! RACIST MUCH?

I believe it was Jon Benet's brother. He antagonized her a lot, even locking her in the basement at one point. Something was off about the way he behaved after her death it was as if he was happy she was gone
i believe the brother knows who did it and it wont be solved until he speaks up .
they forgot to mention that some experts said that patty ramsey wrote the randsom note . they also forgot to mention that jon benet wet the bed which made patty mad . they also forgot to mention that no items were disturbed around the windows .
Actually None of the Handwriting Experts brought in by the Boulder PD would definitively state that Patsy wrote the note, in fact most of them said it was highly unlikely. JonBenet had Not wet the bed that evening, that is obvious from the actual crime scene photos from that morning. As for the window well, the crime scene photos show a clear disturbance there, that and there were matching packing peanuts found in the room JonBenet was found in and said window well.
i didnt say the boulder PD experts . imean outside honest experts said it was patsy . deny all you want .
@@hobbgreen4529 - Which "outside honest experts" are you referring to because Donald Foster was Discredited & Cina Wong was deemed improperly certified.
That whole child pageant thing and case is so creepy.
Why would the intruder take her to the basement and do all of that with plans to THEN abduct her?
17:37 The order in how Jon was incapacitated makes no sense.
He said the tazer was first, then duct tape. I would think to use the duct-tape 1st, then tazer in case the victim screams.
The rest of their speculative reasoning sounds like projection on their part.
Whoever wrote the note, their goal was to molest the victim, full stop.
Writing, "I wanted to hurt you by taking what you love most."
To me, that implies the Murderer had been slighted or perceived slight, that made him feel murder and 🍇 will "level" the power and/or money gap.
I hope they solve this case in my lifetime.
Can you do another case pls I mean about the Panamanian case on the two Norwegian girls❤❤❤
I like the background to this. I feel absolutely horrible for her family members that have no idea what happened to her and I hope someday the truth will come out
Don’t assume they don’t
1996 DNA testing was less than accurate and mostly used in paternity testing
Always found it odd that one of the best homicide investigators ever retired right before this.
I agree with you. Child pageants are just something that we don’t need.
A very strange story.
Reason #2 inhumane? It's murder
I guess they didn’t bother collecting DNA..
Love Grandma Debbie
Other documentaries about the case say that the evidence was contaminated and some of it lost. You might want to check out other versions, even if you don't do a reaction.
I think it might have been someone they hired, like the gardeners, or anyone who knew that window was there.

So anyone, including the family…
Title of the video, and they did not say anything with reference to the title. I hate thumbnail bait like that. Most murders and crimes for that matter, go unsolved.
I wish murder cops wouldn't "suspect"
I have nightmares about getting railroaded because it's convenient and no one else is investigated.
So sad.
You mean child predator but paedo too. And could still be family too.
It was perfectly fine before, now everything is blue, lol
You’re blue da ba de da ba di…. I’m very sad this little girl died. I remember it all over the news but at this point it’s been harped on too much. Far past the time to let her rest in peace. Love the channel but not watching this story again. Was just concerned because you’re blue . Da ba di…
My gut says mom did it
🙏💔sweet baby girl.
My belief - dad was s**ually abusing Jon Benet… Patty became pissed and well….. as for the $118,000 - interesting amount as that was the exact amount of the father’s bonus check.
No idea if it's appropriate or not, but it's certainly strange and off-putting.
It was O.J. Simpson.
I totally agree with you! Love Grandma Debbie
The fact you’re blaming Mexicans and your name is Karen… it’s so rare to see a Karen being a karen so I hope you’re not actually one.
@@debraleesparksno, grandma Debbie…
I have a feeling that @Karenedawards6713.... voted for Trump. Just a hunch.
Did I miss something? What did pineapple have to do with it??
...you need to pay attention better.
@@strider9184 not my fault you have downs. Lighten up yourself little bud.
@@strider9184 you too downy baby :)
Agree with the certain victims make for a bigger spotlight from media. Thinking about those cases that never get attention is the equivalent to when you see one make a wish kid happy his dream came true but then you wonder how many kids are in his exact situation that didn't get shit oof
background looks like a Miami vice episode.. hmmm we solved the case you two did it!! Daz, Patrice O'Neal has a bit on white females going missing and another race, he asks the audience like he forgets Halloways name, whats her name, a lady yells it out, and then he say and the second girl that was killed.. nobody knew her name, he points out because she was Peruvian and had brown skin.. no media.. and the 100 K is in 100 dollar bills not dollar.
So u live in America?? I thought ur reactions were Brits from Britain responding to whats happening in the US
The son did it went on Dr Phil and lied
Whoa your whole video looks blue. Even your skin tone.
Why do they assume only men would… but I hope & pray that soul is well wherever they are now, and Maddie McCann too, but sadly she might be a sex slave or regular slave sold to rich middle easterners… if I remember right, someone had seen a little girl matching her description on a ferry to North Africa on a known trafficking route where there’s also easy transport to the Middle East, and she was in her pyjamas and asking the man with her if they’re gonna see mummy soon, but beyond thinking it’s a bit weird, didn’t think of anything until hearing about her missing… and trying to contact them and ask them might still be a possibility…
And let’s not pretend it’s impossible and unlikely for the father/parents to pay off the authorities to ignore their doing.
And paedophilia and being a child sex offender are two different things…
I just repeat what a TV show said about Mexican DNA, but here you are blaming Middle Eastern People. Don't throw rocks if you live in glass houses is something you may need to take to heart! RACIST MUCH?
Hijackers😂😂😂😂 I think the commentary may have meant kidnappers. This is such a poor video with so many incorrect statements!
maybe stop the reaction a few more time to talk about the exact same things over and over and.... OVER :P
It’s a reaction channel. Two brain cells, some people, honestly. 🙄
