Aaron Said multiple times there were miles and miles of tunnels, could easily have missed a small hive. I would love to see a new movie return to fury 161 as it is the most logical location where a plot could be written around this theory. Alien 3 got a lot of hate but did so many things well. The music and atmosphere of fury 161 is horrifying and would make for a much better setting than Lv-426 and the Derelict miraculously surviving the explosion.
Alien 3 definitely got a lot of hate. While I don't like how they "dropped a house on" some fan favorites, it has a great setting and a dark story that really fits the franchise. I'd also like to see this theory explored more in the future.
for people not watched it i reccomend the directors cut of alien 3 over the theatrical version, its much better!
Still Not good as first two but still vast improvement over what we got in theatrical cut!

I don’t remember that scene, but I’m not surprised at it coming from a movie that had some arguably dry dialogue if you weren’t paying the strictest attention. Then again, I was only 12 when I saw it.
The only thing that upset me about that film didn’t even take place until years afterwards, when I learned that in the original cannon Hicks and Newt survived the whole debacle aboard the Sulaco, but the film script was retconned only because Michael Biehn was unavailable for filming, and Carrie Henn (the actor who played Newt) quit acting altogether after “Aliens”.
The movie would've been just fine with me if they didn't kill Newt and Hicks offscreen at the beginning of the movie.
i so want actor Danny Webb to read out Space Beast, just to hear him be Morse again reading out Morse's book would be totally awesome. someone needs to convince Danny to read it out to his fans and post it on TH-cam or something.

Normally I try not to comment on an exceptionally talented actress’s physique and looks, somas to not run the risk of offending her professionally. That is, objectifying an actress based solely on her looks (and for most of today’s actresses, and actors, their appearance is the only attribute they have going for them), rather than her innate, artistic talent and acting ability.
But the entire planet acknowledges that Sigourney Weaver is a giant among all those in the business, so in this case I feel safe to make an exception.
She is in mind blowing great shape, and is more beautiful in 1992 than in 1979. And even more beautiful now.

This hive sets the scene for a spin off about a group of people formed by former weyland yutani employees exploring fury 16 and knowing what to find, then selling the samples and everything goes to hell on some other expensive colony.
I know there is a story in the bug hunt book that they go back to fury 161
Alien³ is as dour as Alien is scary and Aliens is exciting - as good in its own way. My personal favourite of the tetralogy.
Shame it was pannd when it came out was all unforgettable cast look and sound a like I all way thought that was bull

I certainly liked it. But I’m pretty hooked on the storyline, I’ll take anything related.
Alien Isolation sequel set on Fury 161 but this time it's Aaron's/85's son as the player character travelling to the planet to find out what happened to his father where he had to face the Weyland Yutani company, mercenaries, androids and of course the secret hive the runner was building inside the complex. Of course he would find out his father was actually murdered by the company and this would drive him to fulfilling Ripleys quest to exterminating the xenomorphs on the planet.

This was a good Video, I think based on this they could make a Alien 5 with Morse, we don't really need Ellen Ripley for this because Morse learning with Ripley in past and the things he know and write in the Book Space Beast could give him the chance to safe people from the fear and true nightmare that wait for the people, a kind of Movie could also make new Kinds of Xenomorphs like Animal based queen or even Xenomorphs that learned a new cycle to survive but I think Disney wouldn't have the balls to make a movie like this : my thinking, you should make Alien Movies because you know them so good and Thx for making the Weekend a good start ☺️❤️👍👍

The egg morphing process of the xenomorph is what makes it in Ash's words the perfect organism. And a great threat.
Also as Lex Woods in AVP, it's enough for one of those things to get out to end all life.
I am of the opinion that some of the dog catchers did see it and chose not to report it. The old and new canon has shown how there is a lot of discontent within the company employees. Likely, that's what happened.

The runner wouldn’t have become a queen one was on the way the only way the runner would have become a queen would have been if something would have happened to ripleys queen embro
Hicks' cryotube is impaled by a support beam and he dies instantly.
Newt's cryotube is cracked which allows water in and Newt drowns while asleep.
Ripley's cryotube appears to be 100% intact as she didn't drown, yet was somehow impregnated by a face hugger. The math here just doesn't add up.
Your are so right but the comic fixes that as in the assembly cut of the film ripley floats to shore and in the comic the queen embro leaves newts body and goes into ripley
Based on the Assembly cut, I like to think that the royal facehugger successfully broke into Ripley's cryotube. It bled when it broke the tube and caused the fire that ejected the EEV.
It then attempted to break into Newt's cryotube to deposit a dose of drone strain P. praepotens as a protector for the gestating queen. However, at this point, water was allowed to fill the tube and drowned Newt in hypersleep. Ripley likely would have died too, had she not been found washed up on the beach in time.
Since the beginning of Alien 3 was basically a montage, we don't know how long the facehugger had to implant Ripley before the fire became too serious and the evacuation procedure commenced. They were all transferred to new tubes.
Plenty of options
Alien 3 would have been better received if they hadn't killed off Hicks in the crash. Hicks should have survived, and been the only other person taken off Fury 161 along with prisoner Morse. I also like the idea of the second facehugger attacking a bull instead of a dog. The idea of a small and secret xenomorph hive hidden away in one of the tunnels on Fury 161, just waiting to be discovered and the horror to begin again would make for a nice final sequel.
Premise:
A crew (let's say 30 workers) is sent to Fury 161 twenty+ years later to gather scrap metal and lead from the lead works for the company, only to find the hidden hive and awaken the facehuggers, one of which is a queen, and the crew is killed or cocooned. Since they were not a priority mission, they are not missed for several months. A second, smaller crew (let's say a team of 6) is sent to investigate, and they are captured and cocooned as well. A video of the second crew being attacked is received by the company, and they realize what has happened. Initially they are going to send a platoon of Colonial Marines to Fury 161 with Gunnery Sergeant Hicks as second in command. Hicks advises against it, saying they should cut their losses and nuke the entire facility. But they don't listen, and decide to send two platoons. The rest of the movie is Hicks just trying to survive so he can retire from the Marines and spend time with his wife and kids (he has a daughter he named Ellen in honor of Ripley). In the end, only three Marines survive to include Hicks (two-thirds of the Marines are cocooned creating even more aliens, the other one-third is killed), plus the synthetic named Pete who looks exactly like Peter Weyland (Guy Pearce co-stars). Once they are back aboard their ship (no xenomorphs hitching a ride this time), Hicks is going to launch tactical nukes to destroy the facility and the aliens, but Pete stops him. Pete has a breakdown in his programming, a la Ash from the original film, and he locks Hicks out of the computer and ships controls. Pete sends a drone to the planet and manages to capture a xenomorph remotely, bringing it back to the ship. Pete then attempts to eliminate the surviving Marines, perceiving them as a threat to his mission programming. He kills one of the Marines (a male), breaks the others arm (a female), but Hicks kills Pete by blowing him out of an airlock and he burns up in the planets atmosphere. Hicks then launches two nukes and destroys the entire facility along with all of the xenomorphs. The remaining alien in the drone escapes, and Hicks must track it down, setting the ships auto-self-destruct to standby, which he can activate remotely. Hicks manages to outwit the xenomorph, shooting it into an airlock with his rifle, and then blasting it into outer space before its acidic blood can compromise the ship. Hicks ejects the drone into space, de-activates the self-destruct, checks every square inch of the ship to make sure there aren't any signs of xenomorphs, eggs, or facehuggers, then he sets the other surviving Marines arm, programs the ship to return to base, and they both go into hybernation.
The End
I agree, but I would add Newt to the equation. The official reason for going back to LV-426 was to find survivors. Newt was the last one. Also, Ripley spent the whole last quarter of the movie rescuing her and protecting her. Killing her offscreen makes all of that, everything that happened in Aliens, basically irrelevant.
@@Leondrius OK, so Newt survives too, and makes it off Fury 161 with Hicks, who reunites her with an aunt or uncle when they return to Earth, and the female Marine in my story who gets her arm broken by android Pete but survives is Lieutenant Newt.
Michael Bishop was just another android though. That’s a twist that always gets missed

I think it'd be interesting to use the scrapped idea for the Alien 3 hive as a way to revisit Fury 161 & implement this idea. As flawed as Alien 3 is, I would still like to see more of the facility & areas we don't see in the film.
In one of the stories in the book big hunt takes place on fury 161 after it’s shut down

I dont see them obtaining the runner xeno without losing half they're team & maybe at best killing it but they definitely can't capture it alive , its too fast , intelligent , too powerful!!!!

So wait, I get that the egg morph can evidently create a queen face hugger, but how did the three eggs come about? And how were the bodies of the three convicts used by the runner to actually lay the eggs? Obviously, I’m missing something, like not understanding the overmorph lifecycle.
And certain drones may molt into a queen?
And why would the three waiting eggs spawn into drones after a host ambles by? I thought the whole point of eggmorphing was to create a facehugger capable of spawning a queen…?

Morse is one of the lucky survivors of the Xeno as he died of natural causes, but he suffered from night terrors because of the Xeno for the rest of his life. Thats if I remember correctly. Still given how large the prison was and given that a nest was being made in the first alien I can believe there would be a hive somewhere.
I really don't like Ovomorphing...but if it's canon, I guess I can't argue...
Thats a pretty reasonable opinion to take, there thing I don't like about canon but hey it's a cohesive story so. Some people get so mad about stuff they don't like and it's like come on guys we need to accept there something in life that we won't like
@@ProjectACHERON Yeah, I moan about it for a while and then accept it 🤷🏼♂️ I accept that Ovomorphing is a thing, but I prefer to think it's rare. I accept that Covenant exists, but I choose to interpret things differently. There are ways to balance canon with preference, I think, that don't destroy canon.
I think it makes sense that xenomorphs can create eggs in different ways. They egg morph until they can hatch or transform into a queen.
@@extraplain2412 I mean, Alien: Prototype implied that a single Xenomorph could lay an egg, although I'm not sure how I feel about that either. Unless they are transitioning into a Queen. I prefer the idea of a regular Xeno turning into a Queen in the absence of one.
But if ovomorphing is canonical now, then I guess I'll just have to accept it.
Though it's only been in the Alien RPG so far, I believe (not including the deleted scene from Alien). I do feel in part the writers of the Alien RPG were trying to balance fan preferences rather than just outright deciding what is and isn't canon, to be honest.
Even if there was no secret hive, the W-Y team should have been able to find some Alien genetic material besides Ripley's blood samples: the runner's skin. It molted at least twice after bursting from the ox or dog.

Considering how Xenomorph XX121 is able to condense it's body to travel through air vents, and the layout of the prison featuring and endless maze of air vents and tunnels, the hive could be anywhere in or near the facility. This includes some very hard to reach places that could be too small or out of the way for a human to consider. Not to mention the Xenomorph "Runner" varient is smaller then a standard drone making the possibility of an out of the way secret hive even more possible.
The PMCS that accompanied Micheal Bishop would not be fazed in any way by Ripley's sacrifice. In fact it would be a serious blow to accomplishing the mission and viewed as an annoyance. Such mercenaries are typically concerned with getting the mission completed in a timely manner and collecting their paycheck. This wasn't a full science team hunting for concrete data that was searching out of fascination. This was a group of commandos that spend their lives travelling around the Middle Heavens in cryosleep only to be unthawed for a mission every few months. They rushed through the job after it didn't end quick enough to just collect their pay and go back to bed.
But I would wager that in a small cubby near the leadworks only accessible by a small air vent there lies three Ovamorphs waiting for "mother."
Yeah those are some very interesting points that I really wish I had brought up in the video now! But yes I completely agree it could literally be nearly anywhere and very hard to find

There's a Jonathan Marbury book that that has a bunch of alien stories on stories on it By different authors And the story that he has on it By the author Jonathan Marbury Has an alien story written on fury about some mercenaries who stumble across The Secret hive
Wasnt hicks impaled through the chest? Wasnt there a scene with blood running through bandages that would suggest hicks was also implanted and by sheer happenstance, was impaled, killing the nymph alien?

There could be another, third, possibility. What if they did find the hive & left it there on purpose, only to have it be used at a later time, when all has calmed down & been forgotten & then they can send some people there, unbeknownst to the horror & Weyland's classical crew expandable plan, & get impregnated. I know this theory is not very possible since Weyland wants the samples right away. But it's not impossible either that they now could act with more patience. They have the perfect isolated location & the hive is right there. Just send in some poor bastards that have no clue, telling them to check out the place or something, any story to just have them sent there.

With the alien universe as everyone knows it from the films, the comics and any available canon content we’ve never sort of had any super back story that perhaps the company (wetland- yutani) get hold of an alien of any kind. I really do think alien resurrection at least get scrapped and the 2 prequels as such or at least explore the years in between the films maybe show more of from the company’s side maybe.
The continuity of the prequels is terrible for a start they absolutely ruin the mystery behind the space jockeys story for a start the size alone of the one in the 1st film compared to the promethus 1 isn’t even close isit.
Scrap the prequels and make a new prequel too the 1st film properly ending it perhaps with the space jockey crashing down, the company intercepting the signal and then show the nostromo coming through space right at the end basically as it does at the start of the 1st film.
I never understood this, from everything we've seen a facehugger can only implant a host once and die? How does Ripley get subjected to this and the same facehugger gets to the dog as well? The intro t the movie only shows 1 egg????
There were 2 huggers the one from the egg and maybe hatched a ride with the queen but in the assembly cut they had a royal facehugger same in the comics it could do 2 embryos
@@jimbowlan5804 I've never seen a royal facehugger have more than one embryo? Which comic? I have all the dark horse aliens/predator and AvP series but it's been a while since I sat down to relive the past.
I know that had those giant spikes along their back and were much bigger but other than that I dont know of any relative media that would suggest this capability. The alien 3 direct cut showed the egg that was somehow missed from crew hanging on what looked light a door frame ceiling entryway. But then out of no where there was another one waiting in the wings with for the dog. Which didnt make sense to me if there were two other bodies that were viable hosts?
I just didnt like the set up and it's hard to explain alot of what they did with these short cut scenes and off camera bs
I heard a theory ones that bishop put the eggs aboard the Solanco there’s proof because in the movie aliens we see a scene where the dropship is starting up and getting ready to launch then we see the scene where Ripley and Newton wake up however while they were trapped Hicks is talking to Bishop and Bishop says he’s starting the lunch cycle but he already launched the ship so I think that proves that bishop put the eggs on the ship
Nice therory but that would go aginst his programming as he is a military asset not a company asset but that doesn’t mean he couldn’t also he wouldn’t have had enough time to circle back after ripley goes into the hive as it takes some time to go between ship and colony unless he lied about the time of the trip

I can smell a movie script I'd love to right the plot to this movie but fat chance it would ever see the light of day though 😅 if the alien fans were half as mad and demanding as the marvel or dc franchise we probably would of had a decent alien movie by now but we just let it slide that we was robbed by Ridley Scott twice in my eyes and the snake shit he probably did to get alien 5 shelved lets hope brandywine productions can come up with somthin after the fx series i have a sinking feeling that the alien universe and franchise is about to change dramatically over the next few years

Keep trying to make alien 3 look interesting or watchable. That movie sucks and in my opinion the movie was made and possibly created sad goth kids of the early 90s.
It is interesting and watchable. What goths have to do with anything is beyond me, especially considering the entire series is drenched in gothic horror.
