I’m up to round 13 atm and I think it’s looking a little small,(I might just have a massive head) but I think it has something to do with the wool maybe as her wool looks thicker than the one Im using. Did you manage to make it the right size? Im thinking I might just ass a few more rows of just hdc but idk what do

On round 4, it’s 3 inches for me instead of 5. Should i add more rounds of increasing half double crochets? lol I don’t know what to do!!!!
I would try crocheting with 2 strands of that yarn together (to create a thicker yarn) and see if it will get you to 5 inches.

I dont think the thickness matters much. as long as youre doing the steps right, it'll turn out the same style
