What a beautiful video . I just love your videos and your family . Being a Christian in todays world is getting more difficult , I constantly feel like I’m being made to feel crazy lol. I have had many jobs and on weds nights I lead a student ministry , I specifically lead the high school girls. It is the most important job I’ve ever had . To watch these kids on their walk with Jesus and grow in their faith is a beautiful thing to witness . Giving Jesus my heart has made me a better wife and mother . I think I needed to hear this today. I actually just burst into tears with what you had to say. I have fallen in and out of love with being a Christian and I guess for some reason I felt what you had to say here struck a cord. I'm still figuring that out.. Whilst I am by no means suffering materialistically, I have not been in a good place emotionally for a very, very, very long time and not once have I questioned whether Christianity might help me resolve matters. I have been watching a lot of your new stuff over the past year, but there are some older videos I’ve been browsing. I love this one on faith! I totally believe that eating well helps your faith. If you take care of your body, you’ll have more clarity for spiritual growth as well. All things work together in Christ. Body, mind, spirit and relationships. I am a member of the Church of the Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Because of my faith and our “word of wisdom”. I have gone down the road of learning about the plant based diet and applying it to my life the past year. I feel so good when I’m diligently eating this way! I love your thoughts on faith and works. What a tough balance. I know the lord loves effort and blesses us for it, but he also loves our faith! I love those moments where he gives tender mercies; those moments when he shows up when you’re not expecting it just to say…you got this, I love you, I’m walking beside you. Those are the moments that strengthen my faith. It shows me how merciful he is. No matter how hard I try, I still need him and rely on him. Especially with changes I’m working on. Will be praying, my husband was in recovery this year for Alcoholism. What has helped him stay sober for the past 6 months has been community. Learning about ACES Childhood Trauma . Besides going to AA he has a support group at church and continues to learn about Trauma and working on healing from trauma. He’s been plant based for the last 15 years but unfortunately unresolved trauma took a toll on his health this year. Love the work you all do, we have a 2 year old so I’ve definitely have gotten a lot of great tips from you all 💜🙏

I love that you said you are mad you cannot hear Him. I can definitely relate. I read one book, unfortunately not in English to recommend it, but this guy was saying how God actually talks to you but you don't see it. Through other people, actions... How many times you've felt down and suddenly someone you didn't expect calls you, or you see something inspiring. I always feel oh that was you JC. :) It also helps me listening to people who are religious talking about their faith. I would recommend Yvonne Orji, an actress but an inspiring Christian.

Great video. My family just moved to the Bradenton/Sarasota family last year. We attend Covenant Life Church in Sarasota. I mention that because it has been a great church teaching God’s word to my husband and I plus our 4 children. There are some mostly plant-based families. Thank you for your videos as they have helped us to eat healthier.

I love the chat at the end! I consider myself a Christian and a spiritual person. I was also raised Catholic but have some disagreements with the religion. but it did give me the foundation of my beliefs and faith.. I have in the past had issues with organized religion and have a lot of frustration with certain Christian groups who talk down about other Christians or put themselves above other religions. They call themselves Christians but then they don't act like they're caring Christians! Those involved with political issues are so closed- minded towards other people's beliefs! We should be able to have a discussion without it getting hateful! I have a lot of the same questions that you guys bring up and it's nice to hear that other people have questions and it's okay to not be checking all the boxes with a specific Church religious group and still be true to your faith... I appreciate that you share this and that you're not being preachy! I think a lot of people feel the way that the two of you do about religion and it's nice to know that I'm not alone in my questioning!

It's between that person and god to deal with that situation! Don't like Christians who judge other people and ram their morals and beliefs down people's throats! I feel like if you go to church you can't be yourself it's just too much fakeness and not expressing your own personality and feelings just really made me not want to go and be a part of that! It's nice to know that others feel the same and very nice chatting with you.
I had a horrible accident on 9/25 and I asked why did this happen and could I’ve done things differently and blame myself for not going a different route . The accident wasn’t my fault and I felt angry at the driver because he wasn’t paying attention, but maybe this was a wake up call for everyone ! I’m here and I need to be blessed that my heart wasn’t pierced by Manubrium fracture. My working out is very limited and my shoulder is torn but I will get through this because faith is helping me to not be so hard on myself. This videos was a good one and a eye opener in many ways . I think in both areas both healthy life style and faith the regular renewal is quite essential. Without asking ourselves why we live as we do it's easy to lose the path. Thank you again for sharing!
Thank you for pointing that out I sometimes feel like the church and the organized religion sometimes gets in the way of God and faith! And I get really annoyed that there are some Christians that treat other Christians poorly or place themselves above everyone else or talk down about different religious groups within Christianity. This is kind of turned me off to going to church but I've never loset my faith and my beliefs. I was raised cradle Catholic too. There are things I don't agree with in the Catholic church but the basic foundation has stayed with me.

I wasn’t sure I would enjoy your video, but I watched the entire episode and I did enjoy it. I understand where you are and your questions. I am 62 years old, born in the Catholic faith, but for the past 40 years or so, was not active in the faith. I stopped going to Mass and completely turned away from my faith. As I get older, I find myself coming back to my faith. I have questions, like you do and it relieves me to hear that you do. I ask myself, do I have so little faith, that I have to question all these things. I believe in God and in Jesus Christ. I believe he is our salvation. But, I still have questions. I would love to hear more in a podcast or even another TH-cam video. Thanks for all you do and for sharing your thoughts and faith with us.

When people ask me how I know Jesus/God is real my only answer is because I have a personal relationship with him. It really is hard to explain. Thank you for the video. I love that you said you are mad you cannot hear Him. I can definitely relate. I read one book, unfortunately not in English to recommend it, but this guy was saying how God actually talks to you but you don't see it. Through other people, actions... How many times you've felt down and suddenly someone you didn't expect calls you, or you see something inspiring. I always feel oh that was you JC. :)
It also helps me listening to people who are religious talking about their faith. I would recommend Yvonne Orji, an actress but an inspiring Christian.
I feel for you guys because I've always been close to family. It's a concern for me as I prepare to get on the road in the new year and be far from everyone. I can appreciate y'all being so far away during critical life and family situations. Praying for all those involved🙏❤🙏❤🙏❤

Great video. My family just moved to the Bradenton/Sarasota family last year. We attend Covenant Life Church in Sarasota. I mention that because it has been a great church teaching God’s word to my husband and I plus our 4 children. There are some mostly plant-based families. Thank you for your videos as they have helped us to eat healthier.

I love the chat at the end! I consider myself a Christian and a spiritual person. I was also raised Catholic but have some disagreements with the religion. but it did give me the foundation of my beliefs and faith.. I have in the past had issues with organized religion and have a lot of frustration with certain Christian groups who talk down about other Christians or put themselves above other religions. They call themselves Christians but then they don't act like they're caring Christians! Those involved with political issues are so closed- minded towards other people's beliefs! We should be able to have a discussion without it getting hateful! I have a lot of the same questions that you guys bring up and it's nice to hear that other people have questions and it's okay to not be checking all the boxes with a specific Church religious group and still be true to your faith... I appreciate that you share this and that you're not being preachy! I think a lot of people feel the way that the two of you do about religion and it's nice to know that I'm not alone in my questioning!
@@ashtonlynnmarie I did read your other posts. Well said! I just think people should have their own right to decided and not be persecuted for it with regard to abortion.... It's between that person and god to deal with that situation! Don't like Christians who judge other people and ram their morals and beliefs down people's throats! We've just lost the civility in our discussions! Caring and accepting is what I've known Christians to be in the past and I'm not seeing that announcing intolerance and hatred!
@@ashtonlynnmarie yes I have experienced that exactly! I feel like everybody has tunnel vision for one opinion you're not allowed to deviate from their opinion and view. You hit the nail on the head! I feel like if you go to church you can't be yourself it's just too much fakeness and not expressing your own personality and feelings just really made me not want to go and be a part of that! It's nice to know that others feel the same and very nice chatting with you.

I had a horrible accident on 9/25 and I asked why did this happen and could I’ve done things differently and blame myself for not going a different route . The accident wasn’t my fault and I felt angry at the driver because he wasn’t paying attention, but maybe this was a wake up call for everyone ! I’m here and I need to be blessed that my heart wasn’t pierced by Manubrium fracture. My working out is very limited and my shoulder is torn but I will get through this because faith is helping me to not be so hard on myself. This videos was a good one and a eye opener in many ways . Thank you !

Yes, what an unbelievable gift that was given to us!..and the Graces He gives us through the Sacraments that covers us from birth with baptism and through out our life with Eucharist , reconciliation, marriage to our final years with anointing of the sick. Christian vegans are expanding, I think as the message of grace is rediscovered in the church and we move away from the old dominating, self-effort focused religion to the Christ-centered and grace-fueled life. Dominion was about having the power to effectively steward what we've been given, not about dismantling it and re-forming it for our own greedy purposes. Love you guys so much! Thank you for pointing that out I sometimes feel like the church and the organized religion sometimes gets in the way of God and faith! And I get really annoyed that there are some Christians that treat other Christians poorly or place themselves above everyone else or talk down about different religious groups within Christianity. This is kind of turned me off to going to church but I've never loset my faith and my beliefs. I was raised cradle Catholic too. There are things I don't agree with in the Catholic church but the basic foundation has stayed with me.

I wasn’t sure I would enjoy your video, but I watched the entire episode and I did enjoy it. I understand where you are and your questions. I am 62 years old, born in the Catholic faith, but for the past 40 years or so, was not active in the faith. I stopped going to Mass and completely turned away from my faith. As I get older, I find myself coming back to my faith. I have questions, like you do and it relieves me to hear that you do. I ask myself, do I have so little faith, that I have to question all these things. I believe in God and in Jesus Christ. I believe he is our salvation. But, I still have questions. I would love to hear more in a podcast or even another TH-cam video. Thanks for all you do and for sharing your thoughts and faith with us.

Love your little family. Your presence is what I love the most and that can only come from Jesus himself. When people ask me how I know Jesus/God is real my only answer is because I have a personal relationship with him. It really is hard to explain. Thank you for the video. Your chats are my favorite part… raw and honest. Fish, wine and meat can be translated differently. I personally don’t believe he consumed any of it. But that’s just me.
