The greatest guitarist ever to walk this earth! Yes there have been and still are some excellent guitar players, but Gary Moore was just a cut above them all. No one can match him! R.I.P Gary and thank you. Your music lives on! 🙂😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
Yeah - tone is the big thing!! Bul also he has all the rest... Feel, first and foremost Totally rare to me - his has it all! RIP Master, God bless you.
I don't know if you've ever listened to Roy Buchanan but he did this song originally. Roy was a great guitarist who was a solo artist at the same time of Jimi Hendrix. Roy was never as commercially successful as Jimi but every bit as good.
Gary Moore's fusion playing with Colosseum II in the 1970's and some of his rock playing in the 1980's show there was a lot more to him than the blues.

Most exciting player I ever saw. His 80’s heavy rock shows were extraordinary to experience.

Thank you for the reaction! I appreciate that you did this one for me. Just beautiful. Sad he left us so early.
My pleasure, yeah such a shame!
Great request.. might be my favorite guitar solo
The GOAT
He’s wrong because Gary Moore has never been a show-off kind of player.
I agree 100%. Gary didn't need to 'show off', his God given talent did it for him!
🙂😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
IMO. Gary Moore can play all styles really well! R.I.P. 🙏
Jimi and Gary,,,,the best,,,
Peter Green's old guitar?

Probably the best guitar solo ever caught on video.

Mark Tremonti has the best ‘guitar face’ IMO! 😜
Need to checkout next, haha
If you say the words "guitar tone" and "sustain" the answer is always Gary Moore.
Not to many covers of this performance, i guess it's to hard to duplicate ?
Haha, yeah it's even hard to just play it not to mention play it with the same passion and precision!
This song itself is a cover of Roy Buchanan’s original version recorded in the mid 70’s both versions are amazing yet different
Sounds spookily similar to Parisienne Walkways…not that that’s a bad thing
Gary Moore was Rory Gallagher on steroids. Wonderful. When's Eric Bell due on ?
Great suggestion, I'll put him on the list!
