Do you know just how HELPFUL you are??!? You are SO helpful! I’ve watch many, many beginner acrylic painting videos, and they are all of help and inspiring, but yours! They are way much more helpful and inspiring, teaching so much in just one video, and keeping very on point in all that you say. I hang on every word. Something to remember about art is that it’s all about personal inspiration, getting I touch with who you really are. You’re really good about getting that across. If you’re an insecure person, art is a great way to learn to love and respect whatever your true self, your inner being, is relating to you and it’s all beautiful and an expression of individuality. I’m learning technique but also philosophy from these videos which is really cool.
So pretty! I'd pay money for those paintings! So excited to go buy supplies to get started. Hopefully this will be my new hobby! Tfs!

I’m not new to art but I’m new to acrylics. I’ve gotten a few supplies together and want to start small with no ‘rules’. Most tutorials are fine art (I ain’t there yet!) or those just for fun silhouette paintings (not my jam). This was exactly what I needed!! Thank you!

For Christmas I got many tools for painting and I got my first canvas and I was wondering what to paint so I was looking for ideas and thinking about what I want something unique but simple and this is what I was looking for some thank you so much

Thanks Karen! Yes you can, the only thing is that acrylics are lots more damaging to brush bristles than watercolor so if you have a favorite/expansive watercolor brush I wouldn't. But if you are not that attached to you watercolor brushes, yes, it will 100% work. I do it all the time.
