    A Crokinole board has been on my project list since before I ordered my Shaper. I am anxious to get started. Thank you so much for taking the time to document your process. You definitely have some ingenious ideas, I'll do my best to mimic them.

      Thanks for watching. If I had to do it over again, I just might make the v groove, fill it with marker and call it good. The epoxy was very messy and time consuming. Give it some thought. I had never heard of the game until just about a month ago. Lots of fun.Good luck. if you need the svg file let me know.

      @@JeffFischer1 what do you mean by fill it with marker? Like permanent marker?

      @@doity Yes, exactly, but instead I went with the epoxy. Thanks for watching.

    Nest time you need to apply a sealer before anything, I learned from experience.

    Great job. Would have been great to see you flicking some discs on your new board.

      Thank you and thanks for watching. We do play it once in awhile but not as often I would like. It's more difficult than it looks.

    Great video! I don't know if you have enough clamps on that though, I can still see bare wood

    How did you do the round railing around the outside of the entire thing? That’s the only part of building one of these that I can’t figure out how to do? Is it just some sort of very thin board that you can buy that will just bend around the entire circle?

      You nailed it. I usually go about 1/16 inch thick and try to get the straightest grain wood you can find. I have also had success with thin pieces of plywood that have been rip cut to width. Don't try to plane it, that is nothing but trouble.

    You used 1/16 maple? What size sheet did you buy for making the edge?? That’s the only part I’m confused on. Did you staple, glue it?

    • @JeffFischer1
      @JeffFischer1  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Glued it on and it was ripped from board that was 1.5 inches wide.

    Can you say me what kind of wood suitable for this game?

    • @JeffFischer1
      @JeffFischer1  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I used Baltic Birch Plywood for the main base and hard maple for the outside rail. Thanks for watching.

      What kind of material pieces are made of,And what kind of thing is used below that does not damage the board and does not cause scratches?

      @JeffFischer1  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@farhadomidi8007 I used White Oak for both and stained one set. I used Osmoil on both the playing surface and the pieces.
