Lived in Maine most of my life hunted moose every year I always laugh when someone has to be guided to a moose there’s a reason why 80% of moose hunters get their moose they’re not hard to hunt(I don’t believe the other 20% get off the couch)for deer it’s around 30% success rate in Maine
Yes. Ive shot quite a few moose in blue jeans and a plaid jacket but now they gotta have ten grand in clothing alone. A 700 dollar rifle kills em just the same as the 9000 dollar one. Lol
Yes, we had a bow hunter this year, he killed a good one, I was not the guide on that one, another one of are guides took him. Vast Alaska is the outfitter
It's not hunting. It's pulling out your wallet, flying to where you know the Moose are, glassing with German optics and choosing when to pull the trigger. Gee, you got me all excited with your "hunting" expertise.
Moose are much easier to eat when they are dead. Have you ever tried eating a live moose? Just the process of coaxing it onto the grill would be daunting.
Congratulations, nice hunt. The audio was so quiet I couldn't hear anything you were saying though. What caliber rifle and load were you using?
Nice hunt Johnny! That moose was a big one.
You enjoyed yourself and your hunter did too.
Those runways you land and take off from are short! EEEK.
Great bull!
Nice work on that animal sure looked like a beauty. Thanks for sharing from Australia.
Thanks! 🔥
What game unit were you in?
Thanks for taking us along, I’d be interested to see how you pack an animal of that size!
Heavy heavy packs. But luckily it was only 300 yards from camp...
@@johnnyhelton3746 and 1000 miles from home! Good job I heard moose tastes better than steak!
It is awesome,

@@tammykennedy4165 I have no idea about moose hunting, I live in California. A guided moose hunt in Alaska sounds fun. Never been to Maine.
Great video and moose
Thanks!
Wow!!! That was a STUD moose!
Yes! It was awesome 🔥
All that expensive camo clothing and then he makes the stalk and shot in a blue hoodie 🤣. I can’t imagine paying for Sitka gear.

Another keyboard warrior that knows nothing!!!
It's called editing so that jokers like you don't get bored waiting for the action to happen.
Why is it alright to do that?
And WHY is it not alright?
