Please know, that my explanations are not based on how "I" feel a card works (unless I state that) but to show credibility, I ensure I'm conversing with persons that have TO'd at regionals, nationals, or worlds for Star Wars Armada. I will make the comment that Sloane doesn't completely relegate you to single-damage squadrons.
Personally, I've found great success using TIE Phantoms with her. Not only does she turn the usually

I will concur that Phantoms CAN work with Sloane, and only really for her.
But I find the red die too swingy, lack of reroll on anti squad, and still low hull (4 isn't much) to not fit my personal play style.
Many others have found success with them and like them.

That is an awesome desktop background! Where can I get it? Can you spend more than one accuracy per attack on her ability? If I roll 3 accuracies can I lock out three defense tokens, following up with the next attack to spend them a second time and eliminate them?
