I love the camera close ups, which reveal his tremedous control and skill with his facial muscles and mouth formation to create such unique resonance. And that's on top of his natural vocal ability. So it's nature but also tremendous hard work to have such perfect sound and diction.

I was in the Army in 1966 and happened across him giving a Live Concert i St Louis. They let me for free because I was in the Military. He was so great I forgot about all the terrible things happening in the world. His concert was a little piece of Heaven, If only for about a hour or so. Thanks for all the GREAT memory's. Saw him in Augusta, Ga in 1969! I had just graduated High School. Wow how time flies. Anyway BJ is just as awesome now as he was way back then. Love him.
We were fortunate enough to see BJ Thomas, in concert, in a little town in the Florida panhandle called DeFuniak Springs. I have fond memories of this occasion. We just happened to be there, and were able to participate in this concert by B J Thomas. BJ was very popular beginning in the late '60s with "Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head", a theme song for a movie. Thankfully, B J became a Christian and some of his contemporary Christian music was some of the best he ever wrote, which I also told him in person. He was very personable, talking with all three of us, letting us take our pictures with him, and autographing a t-shirt for me. You can check him out on you tube, and you can surely find something that you will like :)
