So the longer you wait the harder it may be to find good or affordable accommodation

I got a rejection letter around midday today. I must say I was very shocked considering all the research I did. I even have an unconditional offer from a university! I not only put in a lot of effort but I also was very maticulous and strategic about how I approached both the essays and interview. I had my interview on 19 March so today is exactly 3 months later that I have waited just to be so incredibly disappointed. Maybe I should have not chosen an early date for the interview but I genuinely felt that I was ready. Even though it didn't work out for me this time, I appreciate all your videos because they made the preparation easier.

To be honest sometimes it’s not that you’re not amazing
It’s just that there are so many amazing people and maybe just one or two got higher scores at the interview
May also be that you missed something you were required to say and someone else made that point.
I have no doubt that you’re an amazing leader in your field, getting to the interview stage is testament enough that you’re Chevening material
The best thing now is to brush up your essays a little and apply again, then prepare like crazy for your interviews
Please take heart and know that it gets better

You don’t need to fully pay
You can just pay a deposit in most cases
The deposit fee depends on the person offering the accommodation
