So basically this tower gets more missle damage that are landmines that dont even last long and like 20 more dps with a bit of pierce BUT -Fires in bursts -has a very very long ability cool down for all missles -has a reload mechanic(militant all over again) -Nerfed range -STILL NO HIDDEN DETECTION!? - Is the most expensive event tower to buy as a gamepass(i have it already but still looking at that is dum for how bad it is) -still pricey yet struggles to kill the molten boss quickly Like how can they fumble a rework so badly they messed up slasher now they messed up one of the oldest towers in the game. People saying that commando is mid are not using it correctly. With new commando, you can’t hop into molten and expect it to solo. It specializes in crowd control and is absolutely over powered in fallen mode because that mode especially at waves 30-40 spam enemies like no tomorrow, which is perfect for the rockets. Sure it might not have hidden detection but it doesn’t need it. You have more than 1 tower slot available to use, use them to bring a another tower that does have hidden detection.
This can be applied to mortar who does commando's niche even better, stronger crowd control, costs about the same, more range, and even does more dps than all of commando's tools combined. This problem shows up with almost every event tower, it has a niche and thats perfectly fine but theres almost always a tower thats just flat out better at the same job

It also doesn’t have to compete for cliff space with ranger as well. Although I don’t disagree with you, mortar probably is slightly better. I remember getting that tower and then using it constantly even though it wasn't good against golden titan (because the gold enemies are like modern tds lead but instead immune to explosives). Eventually I took a break until things like the archer came around and got that one and then took another break until warden came out. By that point the tower sucked and it was pretty sad cause that tower was my main. Glad to see it finally got a rework even if it isn't the greatest.

Im really sad that I missed out on the limited sale, such a shame, this tower might not be the best in terms of dps and overral performance, but its one of my fav towers in the entire game, and seeing a rework like this, convinces me that TDS is indeed a really great game, id say harvester is considerably worse than commando.
The keybinds for Xbox is just gone. They removed it. Ask the paradoxum administrator to add keybinds in setting for console users. Modes like micro selling make it impossible on hard game modes. Therfore, console users must sell and upgrade towers manually.
