I lived outside of Asheville NC for years. One of the neighbors had a Pyrenees, and they let it travel the neighborhood. Beautiful, friendly dog. He was pretty amazing. We also had a bear problem. This Pyrenees had absolutely no issue chasing off bears. He was not afraid. It was always impressive watching him chase them off. He did it in such a calm manner, he never ran at them. He slowly walked towards them, as he got closer he started to bark, then he would walk back and forth, at angles, to keep the bear heading straight, and he didn't stop until the bears were deep in the woods. Really impressive animals.
What a glorious clip. The big dog catching a nap. The baby goats going off around him. Just really wholesome stuff. It's the little things in life that make us smile.

The Great Pyrenees are not known for being silent. They normally bark if a leaf falls to the ground, at anything that moves.
