      People of the Book, do not go to excess in your religion, and do not say anything about God except the truth: the Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, was nothing more than a messenger of God, His word, directed to Mary, a spirit from Him. So believe in God and His messengers and do not speak of a ‘Trinity’- stop [this], that is better for you- God is only one God, He is far above having a son, everything in the heavens and earth belongs to Him and He is the best one to trust.

    I fully believe in God. I’ve been a Christian for 20 years. I was tormented by doubt the first couple of months after I got saved. Day and night I doubted about Jesus, but I still continued to go to church and praying and hungry and desperate for truth. But I was like Thomas the unbeliever in the Bible. Until one day I had my own personal experience with Christ, a supernatural but very real experience really. It happened after a church service, I believe this day too Jesus baptized me with the Holy Spirit. It started progressively, I started to feel God’s presence it wasn’t goosebumps or my neck hair standing, but I started to feel His presence in my heart and it became really intense to the point we’re all I could feel was His presence. I could feel his eyes looking at me, I could just feel Jesus. It was Him showing himself to me, casting out every doubt and desperation. Jesus revealed Himself to me, I cried and all I could do was surrender cause He showed himself to me. The next day I just wanted to tell everyone that Jesus was real. That God is real! This experience lasted three days! It’s been 20 years and I still remember like it was yesterday. God gave me the gift of faith; it knows no limits. I can rise my faith up to God at any moment and I know He sees, he listens and he wants to be near. God is real you just gotta Him time to show Himself to you. Pursuit truth, and truth will have no choice but to reveal itself to you. God bless 🙏🏻

God's purpose for creating us was to have us WANT to follow him and choose to be with him out of our own free will. Programming behavior into us would not serve that purpose. If you want to be responsible for your own sin, it is your choice.
      Loving God promises eternal life in heaven if person accepts God's free gift (that Jesus Christ died and took punishment for our sin). Once we accept His gift, we are saved by His grace, because He loves us.
      Since God is also just, He must punish sin. If you want to take responsibility for your own sin, punishment happens in hell, and it is horrendous place to be in. I do not understand why anyone would want to go to that place...unless a person thinks this is a joke.
      I really hope you make the right choice while you are still alive. Because your eternal life depends on it.

Like this guy said in his previous videos, this which may be relevant to the standards of God's law placed on Lucifer: God isn't going to force anyone to love him, therefore Lucifer and anyone that followed him receives the same consequence as everyone else for breaking those laws. @@mandyg9119 are you God?
      So when you do something that's God doing it?
      You seek to be confused.
      God can do what he wants, but you have to assume that what he wants is to determine you to do something evil to assume that God doing what he wants=you doing whatever you choose to do, including evil.
      If I have a dog and I leave and don't crate my dog, that's my choice. If my dog then eats my sofa that's on my dog, but I have to accept that I allowed it, but that doesn't mean my sofa being eaten was the outcome I actually wanted... that's on the dog.
      I think God owns the fact that he created the universe with the potential to go bad. In Genesis 6 you see God own that and "repent" of creating mankind. However he then judges mankind in order to stop this great evil he didn't want to happen. But because God is merciful he gave them time before his judgment, and he let some good people survive and start over, letting the human race... as is... have a second chance, instead of killing everyone and starting totally over.
      It's harsh, but it's nothing God owning the he has a portion of the blame for allowing it, but the problem isn't in him for giving us choice, but in the choosers for misusing that choice, so he judged them and gave better choosers a chance to do better in the absence of overt evil.
      You miss the point of my OP.
      you can't have it both ways.
      You can't nothing want God to just validate everything you do and be a soft and squishy new age God who's just nothing but nice and supportive, but then complain thy evil exists and complain that God doesn't do more to stop it.
      God is doing both, in his own time. He gives you opportunity to do good or evil without coercion to make you choose right... then, when the time is right, just like the flood, he'll intervene before we go so far that we make salvaging the human experiment impossible.
      He can guide people via society at large, to allow for small corrections, inspirations of goodness, gifts of beauty, talent, love, grace, giving us the tools to do better... but he gives us time to make what we will of those gifts and he let's natural consequences play out, both the injustices of pacifism, and the unfairness of victimization which passes down evil like a cancer. He let's people choose to perpetuate it or stop it, and he let's it play out AS LONG AS POSSIBLE, because that let's goodness vs will to power play out and let's pragmatic people with loved ones learn from that process and either get better at defining and defeating evil or get more selfishly pragmatic and take while it's advantageous.
      It's about organic process. It's like God is an English gardener. He wants nature to play out, but he's trying to arrange it such that a certain flower or fruit results, and before the weeds make it impossible for that fruit to flourish, he'll intervene, but not before because it's not a French garden, it's not about control but cooperation, it's not about the power of the gardeners will, but the beauty of nature, cultivated naturally in the name of love, thorns and all, weeds and all.
      And you can choose which role you play. He's not controlling you. But whatever you choose to do will end up playing a role in his final outcome. You'll either be the saint or the tragedy or the villain or the cautionary tale, or a bit of all of the above like most people, but it's on God that you exist, and it's on God how the story ends, but it's not on God what you chose to do with the time you have. And if you want God to control the game more then you're denying your own liberty to choose your path.

      As far as the whys of the flood you need an understanding of genesis 6, the sons of God corrupted all life on earth(genetic corruption) this genetic causes evil to be the continuous norm and not only is God just in his judgments but without a moral law giver their is no right or wrong all would be relative.

    Before coming to Christ by faith I was an intellectual atheist and one of the dumbest questions I’ll ask born again Christians was the following:
    “If God is good like you claim He is why does He allow evil and suffering to occur in this world including in my life why doesn’t He come down from Heaven right now to stop it?”
    I was so blind I couldn’t see that over 2,000 years ago Jesus Christ came down from Heaven. Put on human flesh.
    Suffered from evil men by being mocked, battered, flogged, bruised, nailed and died upon the Cross for our sins to redeem and reconcile us to God.
    Man gave the greatest slap to God to His face and didn’t know He was standing right in front of them!

    • @charliekiger

      @J D Matthew 27:46: About three in the afternoon Jesus cried out in a loud voice, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” (which means “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”).
      Hell is to be without God. People go to hell when God forsakes them. When he finally let's them fully go their own way like they wanted.
      Jesus was literally completely forsaken by God on the cross. Thus He suffered hell upon the cross. No other man suffers hell in this lifetime. Thus Jesus' suffering was the greatest suffering any man has suffered in this world. He was forsaken instead of us so that none of us would have to be.
      God bless!

    • @PassiveDreamer
      @PassiveDreamer 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Because He gave us free will. Free will is the choice to do what you want but God instructs us there are consequences to our actions that we cannot percieve, therefore he gives us the choice to listen or ultimately harm others and ourselves. To intervene in any persons actions (good or bad) would contradict free will because then you would not really be free to do it if you know someone is going to stop you. However there are always consequences to your actions and everyone pays the toll someday. Do not hold God to the standards of morality and the limited comprehension we humans have of this life, because we cannot comprehend the unchanging, endless without beginning and the infinite, or that something so great could be so benevolent, let alone see past our own petty lives and desires and still care about our individual salvation.

    • @MG-qm8if
      @MG-qm8if 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thing is he will come down to stop all evil and that is a fearful thing. He will come again but it will be as a judge. But he wants as many as possible to turn to him before then. Sin and evil exists because of choice, when Adam and eve sinned by free will sin entered the world. The same free will leads to evil. God is not a god who controls his people like jesus said to follow me not let me drag you.
      As for suffering it is a consequence of sin. It is a difficult topic but we also have to understand that this world is full of humans who have evil intents towards others and we obviously know certain risk factors like radiation, pollutants, unhealthy diet etc increase the chance of sickness. we have to also remember god himself suffered.

    Frank made a statement that I would love a source from. He stated that over 90% (98% if I remember correctly) of abortions are a result of the mother not wanting the child and not as a result of a Sexual Assault. I would love to know that source (I believe that to be the case as well but want to be able to prove it).

    • @schwann145
      @schwann145 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Don't have a source but he's speaking about all abortions, regardless of when performed (whether the morning after pill or an emergency abortion to save the life of the mother 8 months in).
      Removing timing, it's pretty easy to accept that the vast majority of abortions are done because of simple choice.

    Atheist mindset:
    They can tell an all knowing, all powerful, all good, merciful, loving God how to be God while still saying he has no right to tell them how to lead their lives, completely defy His existence and the laws he sets to try and get back at and yet still while denying His existence altogether

    • @Michael-yf4tk

    • @clarismontique9354
      @clarismontique9354 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I don't think you understand the order you take to conclude on somethings existence, at least for your god. First of all, atheist deny God's existence much like you deny Vishnu's or Amaterasu's or Ra's existence: it is unreasonable and has no actual grounds to back them up. How can you judge the all powerful Zeus when he eats Metis over a silly prophecy? He is much more powerful and knowing than you, and you even go and oppose him by denying his existence! You see how ridiculous your argument is; you can't assume we are telling an omnipotent god what to do when we haven't even gotten past the fact that he almost certainly doesn't exist. The fact that atheist CAN tell your god what to do and question his actions when he is supposed to be perfect shows how ridiculous the concept of him is, and that in of itself is evidence against his existence.

    • @Michael-yf4tk
      @Michael-yf4tk 7 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Claris Montique Ahh, the "well what about the other Gods?!" argument. This tired and worn out Dawkins-inspired rhetoric had me fooled once. If you read the bible and tried to understand it you would see it has God's finger print all over it. But somehow you think it is our job to prove it all to you. It's not, stop being lazy and seek God. The evidence that most of us have you don't accept anyway because they are personal experiences, and you can't put it under a microscope or measure it so therefore it's not "scientific" enough for you.

    • @clarismontique9354
      @clarismontique9354 7 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Personal experience is by far the worst way of proving reality. They have so much outside bias going towards them and they are so inconsistent that they never give consistent results. If the other gods argument is so tired and worn down please explain why, because other religions have personal experiences and you discredit them, other religions say to find their god you must seek him out so please explain why your "evidence" is valid for you and not them.
      Your job as a christian is to prove it, stop assuming that the bible is evidence for itself, otherwise any text that says it is truthful is true. Judaism/ christianity isn't even the first religion, so it really is not even that special in the vast scope of things.

    • @Michael-yf4tk
      @Michael-yf4tk 7 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Claris Montique Oh no, I'm sure the followers of other religions have had experiences that are very real. They just don't understand where it's coming from. All other main religions either mock or deny Christ, take your pick. They also have a fanscination with serpents and death. It's pretty easy to figure it out.
      Look into near death experiences and you will prove yourself wrong. There are very stark similarities.
      No, that is not my job as a Christian. As a Christian I am supposed to share the gospel to you, but you obviously already know of it.

Don’t let anyone take your crown as said in (revelations 3:11). Man tries to explain what it doesn’t understand and hates the idea of not knowing the fullness of everything while rejecting the creator who glorified himself through all his creation (Romans 11:36). • @MatthewFearnley
      @MatthewFearnley 5 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Sometimes to disprove something, you have to suppose it's true, and then draw from that conclusions you know to be false. If the conclusions are false, so was the premise you are supposing. This is usually known as "proof by contradiction".
      So the short answer might be that she doesn't believe God committed atrocities, but supposed that he did to try to show he doesn't exist.
