Julieann, I have to agree! She was absolutely stunning! I may be a bit biased though! lol. She tried to live as authentically and as real as she could, and let people into her struggles so she could empathize with others. Even in her weakness, she tried to give the glory to God in all things.
Oh my gosh that brought a tear to my eye. I have had breast cancer and this really resonated with me. She was wise beyond her years wasn’t she and truly beautiful inside and out. I’m sure your words meant a lot to her Darrin.
Wow. Her words really struck me. My husband has encountered so many brides that desperately want him to fix their imperfections( too many veins in hand, bags under eyes, arm fat, etc) This is such a powerful message. Thanks for sharing 🙏❤
Yeah, she picked this up from her endeavors in Boudoir - telling the story of where you are and what you've been through. Something she walked through too. You're so welcome!
She lost a lot of weight very quickly bless her. I truly love the videos keep them coming. Just curious if her weight ever got under control? Hoping that the drs got right nausea and pain under control enough to get her appetite back to where she was at least comfortable and eating
16 years, Carol. I met her when she was 19, I was 35. She was so mature, I thought she was at LEAST in her mid-20s. I was so immature, she thought I was at most late 20s. We decided to get married, started dating (yes, in that order. It's a whole thing. lol. I talk about it in episode 24.5, I believe) and only did we figure out how old the other was. Shocked everyone when they learned her age. They thought she was much older.... So, we had a choice... give up, and walk away from what we had. Or go forward. I'm happy to say that I did go forward with her. I'd make the same choice again, you know.
Susan, it certainly was. We essentially told our families "leave us alone, we need to process," called our pastor, and then turned off our phones for a week. It was one of the most difficult moments in a journey filled with difficult moments. We held onto God with everything we had right then. I'm still trying to do so now.
Her message here is powerful! I know being as sick as she was here, she didn’t see how absolutely stunning she is.
Thank you, Darrin,
Julieann 😊

Mad Grace, she sure was! I'm just grateful for the time I had with her! And I'm sorry you had to battle this monster too.
Well, that was powerful! Her words are very deep and meaningful. Self acceptance. The daily struggle! God bless her soul! ❤️
Thank you, Nancy! She always wanted to live her life well, and honestly. This was one of those moments that I was really proud of her for.
@@Beyond_Cancer indeed!

Never. Food intake was the battle that we never could get ahead of, unfortunately. She was so sick all the time with constant 24/7 nausea.
Age difference between Darren and Brittany?

Hero. So unfair.
I think she was a hero. Most certainly. Hello Elena!
