@merelychristian8325 Have you been to a high Latin Mass or a high Novus Ordo Mass that is reverent with ad orientum, communion rails, smells/bells, gregorian chant, etc?

It’s sad to see the cringy things that some pastors do to engage the laypeople. If there is a priest out there reading this, I’d like you to know that we like our masses reverent, our homilies relevant to the scripture readings and no extra liturgical additions like clapping 8 different times for Father’s Day or telling us to raise our right hand to pray for someone. Their intentions could have been included when we prayed for the sick, the dead, our leaders etc. That’s it. I don’t care if the choir sucks or if there are babies crying in the pews. We come to mass because the Catholic Church is the Church that Christ established and Jesus is present in the Holy Eucharist.
Love you Laura! Finally a Catholic channel that relieves some of the stress of modern society.

I love your videos. I go to the regular mass but have wanted to try a traditional Latin mass. Where I live the closest one is over 2 hrs away. I can’t drive nor do any of my friends will drive that far which I do understand. I’m just eternally grateful for them and for them taking me with them. I watch mass everyday but as we all know there is Absolutely nothing like receiving the Holy Eucharist in person. Ppl don’t realize or understand how much of a privilege it is to be Catholic. When we take communion in a state of grace. His heart beats in unison with ours and His blood courses through our veins. Literally ❣️❣️❣️

Having mixed feelings about the song being funny but also sad to see the images of irreverence. We attend a Novus Ordo but the community is still very reverent, thank God. ❤
Amen! It does sadden and sicken me too, to see and hear all that garbage! I'm also a Novus Ordo attender, and I know that wherever the real Presence is, we are led into a closer relationship with Christ that no other [communion of sorts] can imagine! It is Him in this, and Scripture accompanying that has the power to draw us inconceivably! TBTG!
I switched to a very conservative independent ( not woman shaming) Baptist church with hymn singing and no rock band , pastor doesn't wear shredded jeans, no fog machines. Just Bible preaching. But sadly no power of the Holy Spirit. So no revival. We need revival!

Our Masses are very reverent. We used to have 3 Tridentine Masses, but last year dropped to one along with NO HIGH MASS, which is packed. God bless you, Laura, and your beautiful family!
