I wondering how you'd compare HMI and NIMAS for AMC?
I did BMC from abvimas and now have to decide between hmi and nimas for AMC.
Hello thank you very much. Go to HMI for AMC. The technical teaching is very strong. You get to practice a lot.
NIMAS is equally good. But it is more of endurance building. NIMAS makes you more rugged and strong. But I feel there is lack in overall technicals.

Bro I don't know about the rumour. NIM and HMI are equally good. The curriculum is almost the same everywhere and also the instructors keep shifting between the institutes. NIM is great because of it's resources.

Hi bro, awesome video! Which month is good to do BMC apr-may or sep-oct as I saw a lot of raining and storm in your video. And is Mt. Renok and BCRoy peak fixed for BMC &AMC, I heard that HMI takes to Mt.Frey also.
Hello Prabhat1145, Both have advantages and disadvantages. But I would suggest you to go for the booking as things get full pretty quickly. Book whatever is available.
Mount Renok and BC Roy are fixed peaks for BMC and AMC. For Mount Frey one needs to pay an extra sum of money.
while summiting were you given avalanche cord or AVD something in case of an avalanche?
No man. Not required here. There are no exposed regions. It is rocky technical route.
But I get it why you asked the question in the first place.

I am coming to HMI for AMC course 200(01-28 April 2024)
My question is: How far will the network last and how far will electricity be available?
Hello Ashish. Network will be there till Yuksom, Sikkim
That's where you will start heading deep into the mountains
Feeble network might be available at Tshoka, but don't depend on it. Electricity is available only till end of your stay in HMI campus.

HMI offers peak expedition after AMC (Mt Palum or Mt Frey) is it worth ? If time permits, I am planning to go for AMC Apr 2024 with expedition. Any suggestion?
The peaks are magnificent but super tough to climb. When you are doing the AMC course you are already exhausted with a lot of activities.
The peak is usually climbed in the end. So you do not know what energy levels you will have to climb. Also the dissatisfaction of being away for a long time from loved ones. It's a mental game too. I wouldn't discourage you. But my suggestion will be a no.
