This is steve from tangzu , thanks for the review ! Much appreciated
Always a pleasure!
Great rundown Lachlan. A fair number of reviewers never really spend time on the budget stuff, but I like that you, HBB and Gizaudio always do! Thanks for a great video and the thoughtfulness that went in to it
Glad you liked it! I try to cover all parts of the hobby because there's great gear at every level 🙂🙂
Great review, you’re always so detailed and analytical. Much appreciated.
My pleasure. I'm so glad you like the reviews!
I upgraded from the OG Aria to the Snow Edition Aria and I am glad I did..!
The Aria Snow is lovely. Such a nice upgrade from the OG IMO
@@PassionforSound it’s like everything I didn’t like about the OG Aria, was fixed on the Snow Edition.
I completely agree!
Excellent reviews. Very thorough and fair. Thank you! Keep it up! 👍
My pleasure. Thanks for watching and commenting 🙂🙂
Thanks for lending your ear to some budget reviews. I have the Chus, and if the Aria Snow is anywhere near 4 times as good as price would imply that’s one hell of an upgrade to look forward to.
I don't know the Chus, but the Snows are excellent. Before you rush out and buy though, wait for a little while because I've got another ChiFi IEM roundup coming and some of the options are really nice for just $20 more than the Snow.
Another helpful video as I search for a budget IEM that won't give me anxiety if I leave the house with it.
So glad I can help! I sometimes wonder about the value of these sorts of videos so it's nice to get the feedback - thank you!
Thanks Much !
Great intro. Yummie music and editing.
So glad you liked it! Thanks for letting me know
Awesome comparo as always! I bought the 7hz Salnotes Zero ($20). They're Excellent in terms of Value. Very neutral to my ears except for the recessed mids and maybe a slight subbass lift. What surprised me was the extension on both ends without any emphasis or harshness. I definitely enjoy the E3000 more but the Zeros are a really good pair for those looking for a (close to) neutral set, if you can live with the slightly metallic timbre and recessed mids. The sub $50 tier is giving the $50-100 a good run for the money, IMO. Cheers.
Thanks for sharing your experiences! Glad you're enjoying the Zeroes 🙂🙂
Do Chi-fi iems under $50. 7hz salve zero, nicehck db1, CCA CRA/+, KS little q, Moondrop Chu, are some suggestions
I'll see what opportunities arise. It all depends on what companies choose to send me
Moondrop SSR occupies the top position.
Not for me, but we all hear differently 🙂
Agree but 99% of hifi revieers have no experiemce in producing/mixing/mastering music or acoustic engineering. 1. SSR is affordable and thus, a lower barrier to entry for new beginners to the hobby. 2. Lightweight, durable and extremely comfortable. 3. Fantastic detachable cable. 4. Diffused/neutral frequency response. 5. Reasonably natural tonal balamce with forward midrange, detailed high frequencies. 5. Strong technical performance of speed/transient attack, release and decay. A very wide soundstage. Numero uno for me!
Lachlan, you pronounced TangZhu Shimin Li very well. You even listen to my fellow Singaporean singer JJ Lin!😂
Thanks for letting me know about the pronunciation, Billy! I think it was a viewer that put me onto JJ Lin
@@PassionforSound, always a pleasure to be of service.
@@PassionforSound, Emperor Taizong was China’s second emperor of the Tang Dynasty. His real name was Li Shimin. His rule was a “golden” era, they enjoyed strong economy, trades were vibrant and military was strong.
No Crinacle Truthear Zero? No Salnotes 7Hz Zero? No Moondrop Chu?
No
@@PassionforSound Why bother, then?
Because I can only review what I have here. If you'd like to send me any of those, I'll be glad to review them
Should be on an under $50 video for the cheaper sets. To review an $18 set on a under $100 list is bonkers.
Unless they perform really well and are better value for someone operating in this budget range. Also, I have to work with what I have here at the time.
It's not bonkers, it's actually helpful. A lot of us start out with an IEM in the $35 and under range and don't exceed $80 when upgrading.
