This is by far the best level of the entire game in my opinion. The sounds are forever burned into my brain. The sound of the warp speed slowing as the music kicks in, how awesome it is when the camera pulls back as it transitions from the first person view to the standard view as you enter a battleship, how you can shot down the big ships on the side if you aim correctly, how you can see the final fortress of the level after you fly out of the second spaceship, how cool it looks when you’re flying through the final room to get to the stage boss, how the boss has no music which makes it really atmospheric, the amazing heroic stage music, how the games ominous intro theme plays as you fly through the final fortress, and how epic it is to see Fox fly out of the fortress at the end of stage makes this stage an all time classic.
oh, that part at 1:39 where you have to TURN SIDEWAYS to squeeze through is one of my all-time favorite gaming moments! NEVER before was it POSSIBLE, and here you NEED to do it!
I like how the enemy warships just open their hangar doors for you to fly in & destroy them from inside. And how the hangar leads directly to the ship’s power core😂.
This level feels like a call back to Star Wars the arcade game; I love it lol I still to this day get goosebumps anytime the boss ship appears and the music changes, and then when I do make it to the inside the core, I feel that sound of the air pressure in game in my head in real life; The way I described it makes it sound like it's an unnerving feeling, but with the adrenaline and excitement it's absolutely amazing; It's the most immersed I ever feel in a video game
L1S3 Space Armada: Shit's getting real, everyone...! Whomever came up with the music is a damned genius because it sounds like something you'd hear in a hero-based television show.
@@RedlineMaximaSE he does have a point, the part where you have to fly into the ships to destroy the power cores is an obvious reference to the scene in Return of the Jedi where the millennium Falcon flies inside of the death star to destroy its main reactor

Such an incredible stage. Sense of scale is unbelievable
0:16 the sound of you coming out of warp speed and the music kickin in is so fucking hype
I would play the game so many times just to get to this level.. This level made you feel like the hero you meant to be when you were a kid..
When the music swells up after coming out of warp, you knew then, if not already, that you were playing something special.
Thanks for uploading this. I'm feeling teary eyed as the nostalgia hits. By far my favourite stage and soundtrack.
The part where you had to fly inside the huge battleship just felt so damn epic! This game was way ahead of its time.
Yes. Yes it was.
Wonder why Star Fox 64 didn't do the same

There's a spot in Corneria 1 where you turn sideways to pick up a nova bomb between two buildings.
Best stage of the game. The music, the infiltration of the carriers, the destruction of the ships.
Beaaauutiful!👌
incredible graphics for that time.
I love the theme of this stage, It makes me want to go on a space mission!

Straight from the Star Wars school of warship design
1:55
SNES: Oh shit, too much happening on screen😱
The ost of this stage is AWESOME!
min 6:00 impresionante ese efecto cuando lo veias por primera vez en esos años

Cracking the power cell and dumping infinite radiation on the helpless crew is such a rush!
This stage was created just to show the badassary of Star Fox and his team.
It sure does seem that way because everything about it from the layout to the super awesome theme kickass. Its my favorite level of the game
One of the best stages in the game.
1:53 - “Use the Force, Fox.”

Good memories as a 90s Kid ❤
7 minutes for one stage :) best game
Remember when Fox saved Diddy Kong from Rayquaza?
The music!!!
Love this game!
It star wars type of video games.
Tom Perkins Don’t even compare Star Fox to Star Wars bitch
@@RedlineMaximaSE yeah star wars more like star bores
RedlineMaximaSE someone’s mad

Starfox is far better.
Where did you learn to fly, Mario Party?
That smooth pixel filter looks really bad
I take it im the only one whoever just hit select immediately to not do first person
Nope. Cockpit view sucks. Especially since they’re gonna take you out of it anyway when you go in the ships.
❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wrong weopon.
Should be using the rapid fire guns to get behind and moving much faster.
this filter that just blurs every pixel out of existince has nothing to do with what 1080(p) means. this looks ugly af compared to the original btw
Talk about a nostalgia trip!😅
