Related to the appendix one - once my (old) dentist told me that I needed to have my wisdom teeth removed. Thing is, they were already removed... by the dentist who just told me they were still in there.

I live in the south and never have I ever called a sled a toboggan. That's reserved exclusively for hats. However, I have also never used a sled because it never snows. So that might be an influential factor.
Interesting because for me (I live in what is technically the South and my family comes from the south) a toboggan is a special type of sled and that's all my family ever had growing up. Our family toboggan was long, curved up at the front, and was made of wood. We had to make sure to wax it properly so that it would slide over the snow and so that the water from the snow didn't cause the wood to swell and warp. We could also fit two people on it, the person up front put their feet in the curved up part and you'd steer with a rope and if you pulled up on the front you could speed up. I loved just laying down the length of our toboggan (ours had a water resistant cushion along the entire bottom) at night sliding down the hills staring at the stars. Then I'd be interrupted by the dog racing along side me as she tried to grab my jacket and "save me" from certain doom in her eyes.

My personal headcanon for how 'Rabbit Death Count: 34' came to exist is that the guy with the chainsaw gets called by someone else who says 'What shall we name your new chainsaw?' and the other guy, not realising he's been called, absentmindedly mutters to himself 'Rabbit Death Count: 34' and the first guy is like 'Great! We'll use that!'
Yeah, I would probably be the someone else who wants to name the chainsaw since I came up with names for three lawnmowers, an ATV, two pickups, and a car. And that's just the ones we still have. My first car was an old Buick Skylark that I named Dana.
